I don't have a problem with it. Better to be active till the end than have people give up a month before the playoffs and not set their lines.

At the end of the day, fantasy leagues are supposed to be fun. If someone likes playing till the very end even if they don't have anything to play for, it's not a problem for me. Also you can't complain since match-ups shouldn't be decided by how many guys you can pick up I the WW.

touche...honestly fantasy playoffs have been such a shit show for several years now. so many players resting, teams tanking, phantom injuries, this is the one time of the season where the WW can make or break you obviously. ive been debating pushing the fantasy playoffs up a week or two. what do ya think?

and i dont have a problem with people adding on the ww if they are not in playoffs. i personally dont do it and let the people still going for money duke it out.

I don't add people either. It's no longer fun when you're eliminated from the playoffs. Lol.

I don't mind starting a week earlier but I don't see it making that much of a difference. This year has just been too many injuries and teams being way too cautious. I don't mind adding another IR slot either

yea, was thinknig the same thing about moving up a week; would it even really matter...the game has just changed too much and really has impacted fantasy significantly. certainly not like the old days...

i think 2 IL spots has been good but we can discuss adding another for next season. try and get a group consensus.

Good luck buddy...

and on a slightly unrelated note... what's the deal with people who've been eliminated still making transactions? Pretty annoying tbh.
Thanks, Hoke! I'm a bit late here but good luck to you. This battle of FG% is a nail-biter.

As for people other than the ones in the championship matchup making transactions, perhaps it's a matter of pride? Possibly they don't want the two finalists to have it easy?

Ever since the Spurs decided to rest players years ago, the league has followed suit resting guys for the hell of it or now making up injuries so they don't get fined. Comes down to luck in the end. I had 3 Grizzlies and the team overall was doing awesome, but now since they have the #2 seed locked, they don't have to care if they win or lose anymore and it really screwed up my roster. Then again, I could have picked up 3 different guys and they could have all gotten minor injuries and coaches decided to sit them for the rest of season since they have no chance of making the play-in. It sucks not sticking with the majority of the roster you drafted but a lot of fantasy is dictated by these real-life decisions. Look at Giddey; the guy should be playing right now to get experience under his belt but they decided to rule him out for two and a half months due to hip soreness that was probably alleviated last month. Ridiculous.

great season guys! Hopefully next year there will be less teams resting players for two months over a "sore toe."

Congrats, Hoke! Thanks to all for a fun season. After I lost Dame, I figured my season was over so I consider myself fortunate to have even made it to the Finals. Looking forward to next October!
