Default Extra power t a powered sub woofer

I have an elemental designs powered subwoofer. Can I add additional power with an external amp like a Monolith? I like listening to Metallica loud and I am look for more boom. I can share a photo of the power amp built into my Sub.Thanks Neil

Additional? Meaning two amps, one sub?

No you can't add external amplification to a powered sub. I believe subs are only meant to handle a certain amount of wattage/excursion and by adding a second more powerful amp you could run into problems if the amplifier is to powerful for the subwoofer.
