Discotek is easily one of the best in treating vintage anime stateside. Those Otakon announcements have me pumped.

Definitely gonna post my wish list here!.... after someone else does it first lol.

I'll at least say that my biggest fear with their upcoming long series releases is gonna be the quality control with their subs. Fist of the North Star had some very basic mistakes, and it was 152 episodes long. So will a show like Galaxy Express, or even Kimagura, be given a better look-over before their releases? Or maybe could Discotek either release them in smaller sets with fewer episodes or let a handful of fans help with the QC by letting them stream an episode before it's actually printed to disc? I'd just like to see something where fans who are willing and able can contribute to catching errors that Discotek might have missed

To be fair Toei themselves did the translations for FoTN. It might of been out of Discotek’s hands to do their own subs.

This would be an immediate pre-order, even though my country has to pay tax on imports now and I vowed to be more careful.

The greatest thing about Discotek is that you never know what they have up their sleeves. That makes them the most fun and unpredictable event every month when they have a Discotek Day. I feel spoiled by all the goodness they’ve given us and will give us in the future. It’s an embarrassment of riches.

I’d like to see the following come from them;
Kemonozume
Trapeze (Kuuchuu Buranko)

and a rescue of...
Dear Brother

A few others I want have already been mentioned by other posters.

I'm easily pumped for Galaxy Express 999, Lupin, Giant Robo, Bobobo, and Cyborg 009. Discotek deserve a medal for all that nonsense that they've had to go through with Cyborg 009.

The mere thought of the titles on professorwho's list plus these (especially Flash) is making me transcend to a higher realm. I'm really holding out for some AnimeSols rescues though (see also: Creamy Mami and Dear Brother)

Are y'all just listing shows that you hope they will release, or are you guys listing titles that they have licensing rights to?

If they don't have rights to these shows, why is there the thought that discotek could release them? Did they say that there are plans for more or something? I'm in the dark about all of this! Just want to find out! As someone who loves primarily 90s anime and earlier, I LOVE discotek for what they do...

Just wishful thinking. Discotek specialize in forgotten/vintage anime that the "big" labels (Sentai, Funimation, etc.) won't bother to re-license.

Give em all of Lupin. All of it. ALL OF IT!

Discotek can release Orguss and it's sequel OVA on Blu-Ray.

MORE MAZINGER! Discotek can release the HD remaster on Blu-Ray along with the other ones that they don't already have in their portfolio.

Give Macross to Sentai. They own the English re-dub and it's not half bad. They need something to go with VOTOMS and Macross would be an easy release that they can handle.

If Discotek or Sentai could release Genesis Climber Mospeada on Blu-Ray with a new English dub, that would be great. Just sayin.

You know what would be a cool, out of left field announcement? Lensman--I don't think that's had a legitimate release since the laserdisc.

Also, Wicked City and Demon City Shinjuku on BD are no-brainers.
