The Blu-ray review for Belle has been released. Does anyone else agree with the reviewer that there's more compression and banding then usual? I have yet to watch the Blu-ray for myself.

Lol, I hope the Hong Kong release turns out to be the better release... I thought that one looked pretty good.

I haven't opened and watched the GKid's version yet.

From what NLScavenger and Professorwho have found, it seems to be something with the source material because the JP release wasn't anything to praise either based on what they found.

You can read my review (posted before the site one) here. The film is just too visually taxing for the BD format in places, so combine that with poorly optimized encoding and a horribly low bitrate and no wonder it’s so poor.
