Default Trying to decide between IR & DLP-Link glasses

I haven't really found many threads on this. The only thing I have seen is some anecdotal messages about the flash from the dlp link washing out the screen a bit. Any pros/cons of one vs the other I should know about?

Also I am trying to decide on some glasses. If I went the dlp link route I wanted to get either the True Depth or Optoma glasses but the TD's are oos everywhere and the zd201 Optomas are only available in the uk and no one has them in stock either.

So what are some good 3d glasses that are actually available?

Red face

Can I just say to the forum members; "please answer Medwynd's query".

I was just injecting a little 3rd/humour option into the mix.

ps: Did you notice that the blue-pencil is longer & understand why..

I have a Mitsubishi 73838 and I by far prefer IR. DLP link very much washes out the image on my set, so much so I can't watch it. I don't know if my set is the rule or the exception, but I do know it looks amazing with the IR emitter.

What program can I use to combine two left and right videos together to make a 3D Blu ray to burn and play on my PS3. I downloaded A Christmas Carol 3D and I have a left and right video file with the audio from the left source. They are in .ts format. So anyone know how to combine them to a SBS MKV or Blu ray? Help me please

Don't forget RF... check out the MonsterVision/3d-VIP/Optoma rf solutions. No line-of-site issues, and adjustable as far as delay & duty cycle, for very good syncing & crosstalk removal.

Also make sure the DLP link can be disabled on your display; some don't offer this option, and the flash may be visible when using an IR emitter.
