Default My Local Video Store went Blu!!!

Finally... I hadn't been in the Local Hollywood video in awhile, because with Netflix, I don't really need to....

Anyways, we got some coupons in the mail for free rentals, so I thought I'd stop in.... sure enough, they have two racks of Blu Rays! Nice! I might have to pick up the New Rambo, and "Mist" since they're both on "very Long Wait" at Netflix.

When I took the movies I did select up to the counter, the girl asked me if I had a blu-ray player, and I assured her my Upconverting DVD player would play them just fine (after mild protest from her, I assured her I was just kidding)

I was in Fort Walton Beach, FL on 5/30/08 and Hollywood and Blockbuster both had Blu-ray stickers on their windows.

Mine has 16 rows of movies dedicated to blu-rays and has been surprising me with their catalogue collection. They seem to get all the bigger releases each week. And in the video game section they have signs that say "Have a PS3? Don't forget to rent a blu-ray movie."

The problem is, however, that it costs 8 dollars and change to rent one and HD movies aren't included in their MVP rental program.
