No crashes here! I was using Safari when I first got my MacBook, but the damn thing kept having problems loading pages, so I decided to go back to what worked. Plus, I have my webmail checker so I always know when I have emails!

I won't be updating until I'm sure all of my extensions work correctly. Opera also released their new 9.50 version a few days ago.

All of my extensions work and I haven't had a single crash or hang since upgrade and it's way faster than verson 2 for me, even with FasterFox.

Note that the underlying autocomplete algorithm is the Firefox 3 algorithm, not the Firefox 2 algorithm. oldbar only affects the presentation of the results.
Works with:
  • Firefox: 3.0b3 3.0.*

Good stuff, but I am told it's not compatible with my firefox for some reason, I have the new one so I don't know what's up with that.

yes. I did it on download day (first day of release). Downloaded British English Firefox 3.

not really impressed though. It is slower than version 2, can't display Hotmail properly.
nevertheless, it's still hell a lot faster than IE7

For me FF3 is much faster than previous versions. Seems less bloated and smoother. Most of my extensions have now also received updates to work with it, so I am enjoying it. 2.x was starting to bug me.
