I'm not really a "graphics are everything" guy Edit:. The obsidian games looked pretty good. Not sure how much I'll like grounded but I'll give it a try Last edited by JayTL; 07-23-2020 at 05:30 PM. |

Still nothing so far that has swayed me from Xbox being nothing but a Forza box to me. Barely having anything to show for it and saying it is early in development (What have Turn 10 been doing since 7 since they only assist in Horizon?) makes XSX an easy pass at launch. But even Forza at launch probably wouldn't have made it a day one. |

Well, I got what I came for lol
Overall I think it was on par with what Sony showed. Both companies holding back some game for later in the year. The only reason Sony had the edge imo was the hardware reveal. I feel like there was still more gameplay shown by Sony, a lot today was still CGI trailers. |

...ehh, jealous about Psychonauts 2 and Game Pass remains a good deal, but none of the other games looked impressive, Halo honestly just looks like the same as all the others. Not gonna sway me from the PS5 I’m afraid.
Can’t believe they didn’t announce a date or price. Insane we’re about four months out now. |

This is MS trouble for the first two years. I don't feel like I saw a game today that looks like it couldn't work on a current gen console. Which I guess is because they pretty much all have to since MS have dedicated themselves to playing on base xbox for at least 2 more years.
3rd parties are the ones that have free reign to release Series X exclusives so I guess we have to wait for them. |

The biggest thing for me is that every one of those games will be essentially "free" with GamePass and GPU.
GPU works out at less than £100 a year. You can play all of those new games and more for less than the price of 2 brand new games. I'm more hyped to play all this on my PC/One S than anything else. GPU is probably the greatest thing MS have brought to the gaming world. |

Overall, I'll give this Showcase event a B+
I'm just glad Microsoft listened to us gamers by starting to build up a more diverse stronger library of 1st/2nd party games. Looks like the Xbox Series X will be a huge improvement over the Xbox One after all since Microsoft now has more studios on their side. And all the games shown here today I'm really looking forward to several of them. But if I was to do my top 5 most anticipated Xbox Series X games, it would certainly be Psychonauts 2, The Medium, Halo Infinite, Fable, and Everwild. This event was so much better than the previous event last May. ![]() |

I know they didn’t, but it would have been the show stopping moment and the first one out of the gate. I know they really just baiting the other company to go first to undercut them, but it’s kinda insane at this point that we really have nothing going forward in regards to when we’re gonna get our hands on them.
