I think it looks impressive, a bit nicer than Gran Turismo...but I’m more impressed by GT since it was demonstrated instead of limited to an “in engine” trailer.

I wonder which game will be released first?

Probably GT, this one won't be out this year, and might not be next year either

The theory is this and the other games that were listed as Series X and windows 10 exclusives wont be out within the first 2 years. Reason being MS have made a big fuss about not forcing people to upgrade to enjoy all these new games and that there wouldn't be any Series X excludes for the first couple years.

They were asked about it and they were being pretty defensive so itll be interesting to see if they keep that promise not to force upgrades to series x.

GT7 on the other hand should be close to a launch title.

But I feel like Forza is going to have the biggest overhaul as they've dropped the number and have gone back to the drawing board to reinvent this game as a service rather than a bi annual numbered update.

I watched the trailer but there wasn't much in it.

I do like the idea of NOT having a bi-annual numbered update as it was getting really old...

Numbered releases only segregates the players into smaller groups for each iteration. The number of participants in the Forza racing community I was part of kept on decreasing due to this issue.

All the car set-ups + gobs of hours that have gone into the paints/decals had to be exported/imported, etc., and got to be a real chore as well.

With how far off this is and Playground working on Fable it depresses me to think how far off the next Forza Horizon could be.

I wouldn't expect a new Forza Horizon until 2024-2025

Yep unless they dump it on another studio but that would have concerns for another reason just like Playground making Fable with no track record outside of racing games. My interest in XSX is about as high as it was in the N-Gage at the moment.

I feel like this game is at least 2 years away. What we saw in engine looked stunning, maybe that's what replay mode will look like since it was a 30fps video which is what they have used for the garage stuff and replay modes in previous Forza titles.

MS have balls the size of grapefruits to leave us with no new Forza product for what will be close to 4 years if my estimations are correct; throwing us 'a bone' by releasing additional late dlc for FMS7 or Horizon 4 would be most welcome, especially with Horizon 4 getting a 4K60fps update after the X2 launches.
