When Do You See Yourself Getting a Xbox Series X/S?

As the title saids, when do you realistically see yourself getting an Xbox Series X or S?

Depends on the exclusivity status for the Bethesda/ID games. If they remain multiplat, I'll just stick with PlayStation. If MS decides to keep them Xbox/PC exclusive, that's when I'll buy an Xbox (or build a PC rig, haven't decided).

Maybe sometime 2021 if the online orders don’t work out in twenty minutes. Went to gamestop at 6 am this morning. They only got 8 consoles between both types of system, and there was already 8 people in line.

I’m not sure I’ll get one, my PC is still decent. but maybe when Avowed is released I’ll give it another thought

Lots of friends play on PC plus I can get access to way more games on PC including all games released on the Xbox. Unless money is the main concern there is never a reason to buy an Xbox if you can build a PC.

VR would help a lot too. I’m getting PS5 on launch because of this. I got Xbox One X on launched date because it could do 4k disc and VR was heavily rumored back then.

I tried pre-ordering today, but it was a disaster again...not surprising but seems like Sony took more blame for it because they came first.

I'm not in a hurry, but would prefer to snag one to play Senua's Hellblade sequel. Other than that, none of the games interest me right now.

Early 2021 is my current plan. If it wasn't for Brexit, I would've pre-ordered one today, but with the free frade deal with the EU still up in the air, I have other priorities for the rest of 2020.

Ehh... I can't agree. I switched to consoles after more than a decade of PC gaming, and there's no going back for me. But it's great that we all have choices, especially when it comes to Microsoft-published games.
