I haven't played an Assassin's Creed game since Brotherhood. Is Valhalla a standalone entry or is there any connection to previous games?

New 1.04 patch will be adding a 60fps option for Series S and get rid of screen tearing issues that is hampering the xbox consoles.

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with achievements not unlocking for them with this game. It's a big reason why I skipped this on Xbox and went with the PS5 version even though I've played Assassin's Creed on Xbox usually. I'm guessing the 1.04 update still hasn't fixed this as I still see people posting about it online.

I started playing yesterday and have had no issues with achievements not unlocking... yet. I will update on that status once I have more time logged in.
