Default New BLu-Ray commercials - Finally!

Don't know if you noticed last week, but what I was hoping for is finally happening, granted little by little.

One of my main gripes with TV movie releases commercials is how little the new format was pushed compared to the HD-DVD one (never missing an opportunity to anounce both formats, DVD & HD, while the Blu-Ray ones were almost never mentionned - like the FF2 one, which made me grind my teeth).

Last week not one but two commericals finally went the right way, with "The Invisible" and "Surf's Up", which are finally anouncing Blu-Ray with the logo, but at least for one of those emphasizes on "Exclusively".

Let's keep it up please

P.S about Transformers: Calm down people, who cares if HD-DVD even wins 1 week by the hair of a tooth?

Have you noticed in the commercials they simply say "HD DVD" but they say "Blu-ray high definition".

I've seen this stupid hddvd commercial with some saprano's guy saying how bad ass it is.
We need Steven Spielberg or somebody to do a commercial saying blu ray ftw. That'd be sweeeeet.

i think its good to say blu-ray high def. otherwise people might think its stupid like psp, but people look fondly on hd stuff, so adding it is good, plus it explains what they hell this blu-ray stuff is.

What I don't get is why the Soprano star is endorsing HD-DUD when the Sopranos in an HBO release, and is on Blu-ray too!

Maybe he could make up for it by shooting a new commercial as a parody of the last Sopranos episode -
Christopher (representing the red team) is sitting there in the diner with all these threats (the Blu team) clsoing in around him and the BAM! The lights go out and red never knows what hit him.

Oh, wait - isn't that what's happening right now?

Because Toshiba is cutting him a check.

I get a kick out of the "blu ray high def." Good move as the general public is ignorant, e.g. WTF is a blu ray? It answers the question. It's high def...
