The new anime is making me wish inuyasha one got this art design based on the inuyasha manga in a remake closer to the manga and two that yashahime looked like the inuyasha manga designs. because this looks better than both inuyasha and yashahime’s animation styles. it says true to the original manga style while having more color etc. I haven’t seen a modern anime look this awesome. if only dragon ball super and sailor moon crystal had this kind of care done for them as well.

Have they announced casting yet? I'm still waiting to check this out. Sentai dubs are hit or miss for me but I'm curious how Lum will sound in a dub.

Nope, not yet. If they’re using their typical Houston pool, I’m kinda hoping for Hilary Haag.

Previous English Lums have been decent. She’s had better luck than Ataru. Roxanne Beck from Beautiful Dreamer is probably the most distinctive (and she’s underrated as a VA; I enjoyed her in Utena), but Shannon Settlemyre from the other movies is decent from the bits I’ve heard. The Animax actress wasn’t bad either, but I’ve only heard small snippets.

My guess is English dub Lum could be voiced by Natalie Rial.

I’m wondering if they are waiting to they have more of the show before they start the dub so they don’t have to call people back as much.

Tokyo Mew Mew I’m wondering if they did not jump the gun on announcing the dub at this point.
I’m invested with the Japanese cast for both so I doubt I’ll bother with more then a listen at this point but I know a lot of people wait for the dub.

In the Q&A portion of the stream they said the first volume will be around 50 episodes over 5 discs.

John Swasey’s good casting as Cherry. The rest of the cast I’m not familiar with, but I think going with newcomers could work if they fit the roles. Sentai’s casts are usually more low-key.
