I think my favorite on here is SMILE BEFORE DEATH. Its colorfully sleazy early '70s vibe makes it a perfect companion piece to AMUCK! Also, it's the only film in the set that was shot in Techniscope, a format I strongly associate with the genre.

Pretty surprised Amuck! Doesn't have a US release. Not sure what's up with that.

You'd think it would be a perfect fit for VinSyn.

Yeah, seems like something they would release. Or Severin. I don't think Arrow would release it since it already has a UK release, but who knows.

Code Red was the last American company to release Amuck in 2015. Maybe they still have it?

Anything is possible, but I would imagine Bill would have released it on Blu-ray if they still had it since it has an HD master.

Code Red also used an 84-minute print for their "Amuck" DVD, when the uncut film runs 98.

Yes, I am aware that Code Red’s release was the shorter eighty-four minute version. That still does not negate that they might still have the rights to film in America. I was only responding to those who wondered why no one in America had released Amuck on Blu-ray.

Where is this safe to order from besides Arrow direct? Did Diabolik or Grindhouse get corrected copies?

Have they even fixed the issue?

Dunno. I ordered through Amazon, and they pushed shipping back over a full month - I assume to address this issue but who knows.

Yeah, I assumed the entire reason it was pushed back was because they were fixing this before stock got out to big retailers.

Is there any difference between the American version and the UK version other than those ratings symbols. Is the limited set only available in the UK?

Was the Yellow one ever released in the UK? My OCD is on fire if I have to mis and match. I am new to this and I want to jump on the collectors band wagon but don't know what to do.

It will drive me crazy not having the limited on all of them..or none of them. Ratings on some...not the other. I am getting axiety just thining about it now!!

The US and UK sets should be identical aside from ratings logos. Both are considered Limited Editions, though I don't think they'd be replaced by a standard edition. The films could probably get individually released down the line.

The Yellow edition is a US exclusive since Arrow doesn't have UK rights to the films it includes.

The Yellow set was never released in the UK, as it includes Torso which is with Shameless over there. There's no difference between the two versions other the ratings logo. The Red and Black sets are dual UK/US releases and therefore are available in both places.

Edit: MifuneFan beat me to it, lol.

Thank you both!

So did they release a red and yellow limited?? In other words they had booklets originally in separate but were they in these box sets?

The Red and Yellow never included booklets as they were simply a repackaging of previously released as standalone releases. The original solo releases included booklets in their first pressing. Only the Black edition includes booklets since they're new films that haven't been released before by Arrow, the subsequent standard edition won't include them.
