I know we're lucky to ever get any 4k catalog releases, but I truly can't believe how underrepresented 1999 is on the format. You could say that for any year, but... Fight Club, Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, Sleepy Hollow, American Beauty, Cruel Intentions, and Tarzan all seem like titles that would be sure things on the format. I don't really care much about anniversaries, but hopefully their absence is only due to studios prepping them for 25th anniversary releases next year.
(I'd also take Go, Being John Malkovich, and Election, but those seem like longer shots...) ((And heck, while we're at it, maybe there's something they could do to get a 4k or at least a new restoration of South Park: BLU.)) |
