I know there are tons of people who love this movie. My sister is one of them. But this is just a god awful movie. Only thing worse than the movie is the guy who wrote and directed. Thanking he be the newest and biggest thing in Hollywood. But them he let his ego take over and destroyed it all.

Just look at the documentary called Overnight. It chronicles his quick rise to fame and even quicker fall after burning every bride he has ever made.

if you're inspiring filmmaker. That's a thing to watch on what not to do if you're ever in that situation he was in.

The Last Action Hero - (rewatch, Vudu)
I remember this being considered a bomb and getting lots of bad reviews when it came out. But I don't get the hate for it. It's actually a pretty fun flick. It's intentionally silly, playing everything with a wink as it mocks the very action movie conventions it i packed full of. Maybe people were just sick of Arnold and action blockbuster overkill at the time. I do remember the marketing and tie-ins being annoyingly relentless.

The Secret of Kells (2009)

3/5

I watched this just last month for the first time as a recommendation from Trollhunter. I'm determined to watch this movie as many time as it takes me to really like it, lol. I don't love the animation style and the story is hard for me to get into. I do like the two main characters, Brendan and Aisling. She sings a song that is really nice, "Pangur Ban". I still give it 3 Stars, because it's interesting and different, but I can't say yet that I really like this film.

End Of The Line (via VUDU free with ads)- 1/2

I've seen this on there a few times but finally decided to give it a try. It wasn't too bad, but they could have had more scenes with Kevin Bacon. Not much to the movie, a railway is shut down in a small Arkansas town and 2 guys steal a train and go to Chicago to talk to the President of the company hoping to change his mind. It dragged at times and had some filler, but overall it didn't feel like I wasted my time watching it. Nice to see Holly Hunter, Mary Steenburgen, and Bruce McGill in it as well as Levon Helm.
