What’s you budget? Viewing environment? Content that you usually use it for (movies, streaming, video-games)?

That's great news, 3D can look pretty great on a 4K display.

I posted this in another thread. All I'd say is that this PJ is fantastic. Don't let the pixel shifting mumbo jumbo deter you from at least checking this out. Read some professional reviews (like the included link immediately below from a very reputable source) and you'll see just how highly rated this unit it. My 2 pennies of course.

https://hometheaterreview.com/epson-...-uhd-reviewed/

If you haven’t already picked one up, read up on and check out the Epson 4010. I have the 4050 which is basically the same PJ but you get a mounting bracket, a better warranty, and an extra lamp. It has an incredible pic and the 3D is better then average. Beware though, it has the pixel shifting tech behind it and technically isn’t native 4k. I’ve looked at and checked out quite a few PJ’s and I can’t tell any difference at all.
I’d bet a months salary you’d be VERY hard pressed to tell any difference too.

Deep Blacks (but there’s better if you want to spend a few grand more for minimal results) sharp, bright pic set on natural and pretty spot on right out of the box. You really don’t even need to calibrate it but personally I made a few tweaks by lowering the brightness a tad for deeper blacks and a few other little adjustments. Very lifelike.

For the money, to me, it’s the best bang for the buck out there. Additionally, every review I’ve read rates this unit very high! It’s a great PJ.

Consider the costs of lamp replacement.

I've got the Epson 4010. Love it. First pj. Planned on moving it to different rooms & using it in garage/outside occasionally, so the lens giving so much room for adjustment with placement sold me on this one. (was also on sale) the 3d is awesome. It isn't compatible with Dolby vision thou, in case that's a concern.

Was considering this but heard that the 3D was dimmer than the norm, even in dark room. Main reason I might opt for the 850 instead, in which the 3D really pops, apparently.
