This Snyder Cut looks like a bad compromise once again. Snyder's Vero had storyboards for that but he did not show a still, which leads me to believe that wasn't shot.

To those who responded to my prior post, this article states that the original JL script had Lois's death in it https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.den...ne-dead/%3famp

Not JL2 script, as you have already mentioned, was not written. Also, it has been said long ago that Warners didn't like this idea, thus the rewrites.
Yeah, the Swanwick reveal was something Snyder was going to shoot with the few reshoots while in post production stage, but didn’t since he had stepped away. From what I read, the reshoots that he would have done were minor and could have not done them, when considering the main story.

Also, that article is talking about the the original DCEU plan before the BVS reception. It would have dealt with the Knightmare stuff in bigger detail. We might see a glimpse of that in the big battle of that potential future where Lois died, but we won’t get anywhere close to what Snyder/Terri originally wrote/planned before reworking the JL to be stand alone instead of two part film similar to Infinity War/Endgame.

I read somewhere that Snyder wants to release his cut at 1.66:1 aspect ratio, does anyone know the source for that?
Snyder posted that answer to question he was asked on his Vero? account. Or whatever the platform they used to announce the Snyder cut news on.

Too bad they can't just imply her death off screen and work it in somehow with dialogue. Kind of like how Rachel dies in TDK but I don't think they show it.

Isn't that what they implied in the Knightmare sequence in B v S? That Lois Lane died and it was the main reason he went from Superman to Ultraman?

I don't remember it implied. Just a weird demonic looking world like Constantine movie and some Flash thing talking mentioning Lois Lane but never saying what.

Well he does say she was my world and you took her from me. I always thought he meant Lois Lane but I see some others think it could be Martha Kent.

I just looked and 1.66:1 is legit. Wish it was 1.78:1 instead. Too drastic of a difference from the really wide prior films.

Flash does say Lois is the key in the scene after, but after watching Justice League, I always assumed what he was saying is Lois was the way you stop Superman from becoming this, which is what happens in JL. Bruce used Lois as his backup plan when Superman went full crazy, and she was able to bring him back to his normal self. Perhaps in an alternate future, Bruce doesn't get Lois to bring him back to normal, so Steppenwolf succeeds in his plan, hence that's why earth looks like that, and in the chaos Lois and/or Martha ends up being killed or something. Perhaps Snyder's JL would show part of this alternate future, perhaps not.

Last night I was listening to one of John Rochas YouTube shows and he had Sean OíConnell from CinemaBlend on as a guest (heís been writing a book about the SnyderCut Campaign for the past year)
Sean mentions at one point that heís been hearing rumors that part of the HBOMAX Snyder Cut might be animated with the original cast voicing themselves since a lot of the stuff Zacks been teasing was never actually filmed, if this is true we will be seeing Zacks original vision but not in the way a lot of people were expecting to see it.

Oh jeez, here come the YouTube grifters who claim to have "sources" on this. Funny that they never had a legit scoop about WB actually finishing this until THR got the exclusive. It was the Twitter hashtag three months ago that made WB seriously consider finishing the movie. Even Snyder thought his footage would never see the light of day.

So it's possible there WILL be reshoots? This is so maddening. Are people this against a Snyder Cut happening that they will spread disinformation about something they don't care about anyways just to upset people who like what they don't? If they don't like Snyder or how he approached the DC material, just ignore it and let those who did enjoy it have their moment.

It's definitely referring to Lois. That's briefly referenced again in Josstice League when Bruce says to "bring out the big guns" and it ends up being Lois that is able to calm Clark down.

Which was Whedon's way to shoehorn an answer to "Lois is the key" into JL when Snyder was leaving that for JL2/3 (where she dies, Knightmare/mind controlled Superman occurs, then is thwarted/prevented by the JL using Flash's time travel).

In Snyder's JL Lois arrives to the Superman vs. JL/military battle because of the turmoil at Heroes Park, a place she visits every day. She's not brought in by Batman as a "big gun".

This.

This is the one aspect that hasnít got much coverage over the last 3 year and thatís Loisí story. I am very much interested to see what Snyder did with her. I know itís not gonna be too much different than what the theatrical is but itís in the details and the visuals of Snyder that will make the difference.

I wonder if Amy Adams is up to coming in for reshoots. I think she would as long as she has scenes with Cavill who she comes across as thirsty for in interviews

As much as I dislike her, Grace Randolph actually called this last year in November including the possibility that it would be a limited series as opposed to a single full length film. For now, it seems she has the best source on this stuff.
