Still not showing up as a commitment, when did your copy of The Lady and the Tramp ship? Mine was on the 26th, hopefully this gets corrected soon.

There's a url trick that let's you choose titles not on the regular sign up selection. It's explained more in depth on the Disney Movie Club thread on the main forum

Not sure if the codes for the movies in the list are the same in Canada. I signed up for the American version of the club and used those codes provided.

Thanks Ziggy...

But for the Canadian one, I found you just needed to change the last digits of the URL code at the very end of it.

Follow this link; https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=1026
and under List Of DMC Titles there's a small link to a chart with the titles available. You cannot order 3D titles, but everything else seems to be fair game. Good luck!

Matter of opinion, but I used to be a member of Columbia House back in the VHS days so it just depends if you can keep on top of the Feature Titles and reject them every month otherwise you'll get charged.

But with DMC it works out to about $16 per title if you order the 10 titles to fulfill your commitment, which is a lot cheaper than Disney titles go for in stores.

Also DMC offers exclusives like the Lady & The Tramp keepsake box they have right now for $80, and they also offer up titles earlier to members than you can get them in the stores from time to time... so it just depends if collecting Disney movies is worth it to you or not

I was referring to the Disney Movie Club selection... I believe the only option is for DVD movies

I signed up last night and this is what I ordered (I averaged the cost over all 7 discs, as I ordered the 6th for $14.95 which counts as a commitment and a bonus one for $9.95):

$4.30 The Princess and the Frog (2009) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)*
$4.30 Alice in Wonderland: 60th Anniversary Special Edition (1951) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)
$4.30 Dumbo: 70th Anniversary Special Edition (1941) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)
$4.30 The Fox and the Hound / The Fox and the Hound 2: 30th Anniversary Edition (VAR) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)
$4.30 Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas: Collector's Edition (2009) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)*
$4.31 Pixar Short Films Collection: Vol. 1 (VAR) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)
$4.31 Disney's WOW World of Wonder: 2-disc set (2010) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)*

Received my membership confirmation this morning and then ordered:
$38.49 Bambi: Diamond Edition (1942) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)
$42.09 Lady and the Tramp: Diamond Edition (1955) - (DisneyMovieClub.ca - New)

Leaving me with one commitment left. I'll snag The Muppets, hopefully it will be $29.95 + $3.59 Tax + $4.95 making my average per title $14.92 with tax and shipping! Wouldn't get them cheaper anywhere else.

I tried fooling around with the URL but couldn't get it to work, but what they had without it was good enough for me.

In case it hasn't been made aware to various users here or if you don't check the American equivalent thread, the DMC is offering a pretty good deal for members right now.

Buy any title at regular price, receive additional titles (up to 3 per reg. priced item) at 40% off. Discounted titles will not count towards commitment, but your reg. priced items will. Also, free shipping for orders of 2+ titles.

I placed my order today by phone since the website wasn't working properly for me. Ordered:

Lion King Sequel 2-pack (Lion King 1 1/2 + Lion King 2: Simba's Pride) for $39.95
Lady & The Tramp 2-Disc Blu-ray DVD Combo for $17.97 with discount
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Blu-ray for $20.97 with discount
+ Free shipping
+ HST

I should also note that the Lion King Sequel 2-pack only counts as 1 title, so to get free shipping you need to add another item to your order.

Also, the 2-pack counts as 1 towards commitment.

How long does it usually take to ship the first order if you live in Toronto? I signed up late in January and got an email shipping notice last wednesday.

Can take up to 2 weeks or more they said. 10 to 14 business days. I am still waiting on my original shipment but only been waiting a week so far.
