DBZ Kai The Final Chapters. The supply was much higher than the demand so excess was sold pretty cheap.

I haven't found Part 3 for anywhere close to $20. I find it very hard to believe you got them for that price.

I'm just going to wait for a full collection for Kai's final chapters and for Super, I'll wait until they do those collections with two volumes in each and pick up the stuff after Resurrection F.

I honestly lost complete interest after seeing this being released years after rather than 2014-2015 or so. Too little too late for me.

But hey, if FUNi ever makes a 'Complete Season Set' for Kai's Final Chapters then I may reconsider. Probably not. I'd rather just watch Z Japanese, anyway.

I get what you mean but the remaster was still done by TOEI all in all, but not in the same vein as Kai 1.0 was.

So it makes it difficult owning the Buu sagas on Blu-ray.
The FUNi DBZ Season Blu-rays look like crap. FUNi did it again with their ridiculous automated remasterization by making it waterpaint-like.

Between FUNi Season Blu-rays and the Kai Final Chapters.. Kai wins for a better and far precise detailed picture without completely butchering the hell out of it.

Nah.

FUNimation releases below.

TV Series
- Dragon Ball: Saga Sets
- Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Z Vol. 1-7 & Level BDs 1.1 and 1.2
- Dragon Ball GT: Single Sets

Movies
- Dragon Ball: Fullscreen Set
- Dragon Ball Z: Fullscreen Set

Specials
- DBZ TV Special 1 and 2: Fullscreen
- DBGT: Fullscreen (they only did it in fullscreen, thank god)

Books
- Dragon Ball Z: Seasons 1-9
- Dragon Ball GT: Seasons 1-2
(can't be bothered to track down the DB Seasons 1-5 booklets, I got the Z/GT brick booklets years ago as well as the rest of everything else)

I'd never pay for garbage like the DBZ Orange Bricks or the DBZ Season Blu-rays which FUNi cropped it and didn't even bother to do it right. Plus, I don't have infinite space nor would I want more than the releases I intended on getting.

The Double Features are also mediocre but have decided to double-dip for the UK version because I got it pre-ordered (Vol. 6 with Movies 12 and 13) at a good price (and it comes with a cool looking cover and slipcover). Unfortunately, the DBZ Fullscreen movies don't look as good as they could have due to compression and that's where the Madman version comes in, apparently the Madman prints are far superior but hard to get and quite expensive.

Wrath of the Dragon on the DBZ Fullscreen features a clean Japanese audio track so that's a win for me. I couldn't careless for the FUNi dub (would've loved if Ocean Dub had dubbed movies 4-13).
