I watched it last night, overall it just edges ahead of I, The Jury but Silver Age 3D beats Golden Age 3D for me pretty much every time so Treasure of the Four Crowns wins. Happy Family 2 takes the fourth spot.

Of the conversions I'm undecided between Eternals and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness...

I'm worried it'll be the calm before the calm. Sure, we're expecting a couple Golden Age titles. And another silver? Hopefully an occasional exclusive from Random Space Media. And a quarterly MovieNEX release from Japan. And then what? Am I missing anything? Will there ever be another 3D release in the US from a major studio?

It's getting mighty thin. We're putting a lotta faith on James Cameron and the rumor of a 3D revival from LG based on a rep's "Stay tuned" comment kept me going...for a few minutes...

I almost purchased a couple more auto conversions, so, I know I've become desperate. Damn, when did I become such a Debbie Downer?

Anyways, here's hoping for Happy Family 3 from EuropaPark!

Well, we know Robot Monster, Bwana Devil, Prison Girls, and the roadshow version of The Bubble are coming, plus two mystery Golden Age titles that the 3DFA have secured but haven't announced yet. There's a lot to look forward to!

I wish we didn't have to choose between something as disparate as Happy Family 2 and The Diamond Wizard. It'd be nice if there were separate categories for animation, conversions and live action shot in 3D. Easy choices for me then: Happy Family 2, Doctor Strange in the MOM, and The Diamond Wizard, respectively.

Of course if we go down this road, there'd be as many categories as there were releases this year.

I voted for Happy Family 2. Having watched it numerous times already with the kids, it was the runaway winner in my family

Whoever voted for Jurassic World: Dominion should be banned for trolling ;-) There is maybe 5-10 minute of passable 3D in the whole movie!

It's no showpiece, but it was enjoyable, much to my surprise. Maybe because my expectations had been set lower than whale waste by all the reviews?

As brain-numbingly stupid as it is, I enjoyed the film too but wouldn't go as far as saying it was more enjoyable than everything else on the list. But if that's your favourite of the year, fair enough. I'm waiting until I have it on 3D Blu-ray before I pass judgement on the 3D, mild 3D is always disappointing theatrically.

I haven't placed a vote yet, haven't seen everything on the list yet but my prediction is that JWD won't be my top choice.

Hi jiardonio

So far it's a four way tie for just one vote.

Better than being one of the five others with no votes.

Not only that, but this is a BLU-RAY 3D poll….and the Bluray for this has not even been released yet…so any votes prior to release should be deleted…

In fairness, we can imagine the 3D bluray just as well as we'll have to imagine the 3D on it.

I kid, as I still enjoyed it. But a showpiece for 3D it is not, summer 2022 likely had that title locked down by Shiva 3D. Unclear if DS2 would eclipse it if counted as a summer film.

Seems to me that our pal Adolf would simultaneously be the best and worst 3D proof tester as the 3D that he described in that film [Jurassic World Dominion] would have made it Best of 2022 handily, with visuals rivaling this year's release of Treasure of the Four Crowns, but unfortunately he's seemingly the only person who saw that level of 3D in it.

At this point I think it's clear that the future of theatrical 3d is secure, as secure as the theatre industry itself is anyway.

The disc market is another story. I expect/hope to see MovieNEX releases to continue indefinitely but who knows. Way of Water SHOULD release and IF WB/Gunn do return to a 3d slate for select titles (thanks Avatar) I'd expect MOD discs for Dune2/Aquaman2.

It's been slim pickings this year and at least three entries (Dominion/Thor/Spiderman) are better fits for a Worst title award. The only films I consider 'great' this year (movie and 3d) are Madness and the Eternals, with Strange having the better 3d.

If judged solely on 3d then it would be Monster Family, but it's also a bad film. I the Jury/Diamond Wizard were also good 3d but I wouldn't revisit either.

Doctor Strange 2 and IMHO it isn't close for movies released this year that I have seen. But it isn't the best 3D movie I saw this year. That was Mr. Peabody & Sherman but that movie was released in 2014 so can't include it.
