Why not? Its been heavily rumored for years and people have actually been buzzed about this. Didnt think they'd do it though as WB Montreal was the one tied to that original rumor

I'm expecting a relatively short announcement-release window, I doubt they can pull off a late 2020 release, but maybe early 2021

Could be great. I kinda hoped Rocksteady would move into something original, but then moving into other areas of DC canon could be fun too.

Only worry I have is if this may be like The Avengers game coming out, and itís a bit of a Destiny-esque live service game with a rotating rouges galley instead of a fixed satisfying game. I guess Iíll have to wait for the full details to come out.

That spoiler implies another game that is heavily rumored will either come out before or concurrently.

Making Superman an enemy is a good way of sidestepping the problems inherent with controlling an all power being.

The ability to fly would've been nice as Superman. Then again, gliding as Batman was fun even so.

Can any of the SSquad fly? I don't think so based on the film anyway. Haven't read the comics. Will be cool if you can switch between the characters.

Rocksteady's graphics are going to look amazing on PS5. Can't wait to see what they can do. Their character details are top of the line.

Here's hoping the game has an open city to explore, with vehicles and also a day/night cycle would be cool. Hopefully changing weather at least. Not constantly raining as in Arkham Knight. There wasn't even a cheat code to shut the rain off. WTH?

One thing I don't like about the Arkham games is how Batman magically can warp 30 feet across the ground in a split second to punch the next enemy like he's Superman. What the heck were they thinking when they added that mechanic? I don't get it, other than linking combos in a ridiculous way. But no big deal. The game otherwise was fun despite complaints about the car tank and no ability to switch the control layout.

Since PS3 had the exclusive Joker DLC for Batman, I wonder if that means PS5 will have exclusive DLC for a JL character?

The combat and leaping big distances makes far more sense for Spider-Man as does the lightning bolts/Spider sense.

Absolutely agree that Spider-Man I could see leaping like a jumping spider huge distances like that. Even in the Spider-man games, they make it believable for his abilities to jump incredible distances.

But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how Rocksteady handles combat this time. Do they just use the same template from the Arkham games along with the super jumping to the next enemy? Hopefully they switch things up a little.

Here's hoping this game has an offline single player mode too. Rocksteady caters to single player games, so I doubt they'll abandon single player experiences.
