Default Any appropriate centers for Focal 918s?

Are there any Focal centers, other than the 900 line that will match up, or sound OK with the 918 towers?
There's an ebay auction for 918's at a low price (at least for now), but I've searched for the matching center and they're like $1,600 I think. It's a long shot, but if I can grab the 918's at a reasonable price (I think they retail for $4000) I might go for it, and hunt for an acceptable center.

Because the Profile series uses the "W" woofer you would be best to get the Profile 900CC, Im sure the CC800V could sound similar and would only cost $700, but from what I have read about the "W" woofers, I think the CC800V may fall behind the speakers you are looking at in terms of overall performance.

Perhaps the best thing you could do is call a Focal Distributor and talk to the dealer and let say that you already own the Profiles, and you want to know if they thought the 800C center would be OK for matching up to the speakers because you don't have the money for the CC900, and see what they tell you.

Good points, thanks. Of course the chances of the auction ending at a price I can manage are probably really slim...but it's worth a look.
