Default Polk Monitor 40's availible at Newegg!!!!

I know there were a few here, meself included... who had been looking for decent prices on Monitor 40's. Newegg has them in stock for the first time a long time. I thought these were nearly all gone!

Anyhoo... $149 plus free shipping... not bad at all considering the 30's were recently $119.

Damn you "209Mason" ! - LOL - Great. After spending WEEKS trying to find some (Ebay, a few people here, other sites), and coming up empty, they're avail. now??!! I relented to better judgement, and patience running low, so I snagged the 30's -- & So Far I LOVE them!! -- And was content with the thought that hey, the 40's were Not meant to be - prob. Too overpowering & Large for the room I have anyway.

Now this... All I have to say is:

Yes, I went a tad ICON nutso' but that's how I feel. Lol. Okay. I'm good now. Breathe. Slowly. Now breathe again... Aaahhhh. Alright. Have a good day everyone!!

Aerodude, consider getting the Monitor 40's anyways. You can use them as surrounds and use your 30's as back surrounds!

DK -- I'd Love to, but as you may or may not know, the Couch (main viewing spot) is up against a wall, and I can't move it up to allow for any rear surrounds. The room is too small, and i'm barely 8' away from my 50" DLP as it is. If I moved Closer, it wouldn't work in the room anyway; Visually, or otherwise. Are you be messing w/me? - Really, I'm good. The 30's are beautiful, sound great, and my upgraded HT is done. I've found a buyer for my Harmony 670 (& who's willing to wait for the Harmony ONE to come in).

So all is good at the AERODUDE HT.

Wow great find! I have a pair of Monitor 40s as my surrounds right now and after seeing this deal I might have to make the leap to 7.1.

as much as i would LOVE to have these, they are too big to put on a wall mount.
they stick out like sore thumbs in my opinion.
these 40s are meant for speaker stands.

if i was going to go 7.1 id get another pair of 30s.
i love how they sound and also how compact they are.

sometimes bigger isnt better folks.

aero.....good to see youre content on your 30s upgrade.
i too was about to buy some 40s but they were like 250 or so.

i dont want more bass. i want better clarity & an extra woofer on the 40 wouldnt do anything for me. ill just crank the sub louder if i want more bass

my t90e's handle the 'mid everything' well.

seems like IF you are looking for an HT upgrade jump on the polks while you can. newegg is coming thru with the speakers & price...PLUS FREE SHIPPING.
