If I remember correctly the lead actress is diabetic, maybe she is having health problems and that is why there is so little Stargirl this season.

It does suck that WB isn't trying to keep it on one of their cable channels or HBO Max, this show does seem to get more attention than other WB shows

If Discovery didn't buy Warner, then it probably would have been more likely that series like Stargirl would have just went back to streaming where it should have stayed all along. Season 1 was fantastic when it was on DC Universe. Once it became a CW only show, it wasn't the same. I'm still sad to see it go, but I do wish it had moved to HBO Max rather than The CW.

Yeah......

But I dont want 45 mins of Stargirl and the 10+ other actors get 15 mins.

What show does that?

Smallville, Gotham, Birds of Prey, Titans, Superboy (88) have an ensemble casts.

She is still at the center of the stories regardless of the camera time.

One thing that is weird is that they set up the Starman/Stargirl tension and mentorship.....yet she hasnt reallly shown any "improvement" in her skill set, and hasnt been in costume enough. I was ready to see her do some new things, yet they moved to her sharing w/ Starman and then the love story stuff.

I liked the show better when it was "Stargirl" and not "The Mahkents".

I was excited for this season, but it has really disappointed me, and I hate having to write that. It feels like for the most part this season has just been stalling and meandering and running in circles. I think there was one brief reference last week to the whole Gambler murder thing, remember that whole focus of the show earlier this season? Now suddenly Magilla Gorilla -- I mean, the Ultra-Humanite, is the big concern (along with Jordan). Oh, and we got close to an actual Stargirl sighting, Courtney was wearing a big baggy sweater thing with stars on it. I guess that's kinda close, isn't it?

And I can understand that, as suggested above, they wanted to focus on Courtney the human instead of Courtney as Stargirl, but it doesn't feel like we've been getting much of Courtney the human lately either. It'd be interesting to go over the last few episodes and actually count how many (or how few) scenes Brec is actually in. It sure feels like a really small amount.

As much as I'm also tired of the "I'm good now, promise!" trope, I do think the actor playing Jordan was doing an excellent job. Agreed that it's soooo obviously going to be

There's just so much potential in this show (the cast is, for the most part, pretty brilliant) it feels extra-disappointing that it's all mostly being squandered.

But this is all IMHO, of course.

I just think theve spent way too much time w/ the Icicle's parents.
How many times have theyve shown the front of the house???

The writing for Starman has been cartoonish....yeah the showed he can be angry but I thought him being around the family tempered his need for revenge.....then they throw it all out the window for the sake of drama.

Either Cameron will defeat his father OR maybe Artemis gets revenge.
There are 2 villains to stop.....Cameron, Artemis (revenge) or maybe Stargirl actually has a hand in stopping the threat.

If they let Courtney get beat up and Cameron stops his father out of "love" that's just back to the ususal CW predictable shit.

If you mean Keith David as Mr. Bones and his sidekick - they turned out to not be villains. Instead they ran an institute for troubled youth with powers. Did a short arc where Green Lantern's kids were reunited there.

I really don't see how they are saying the finale next week will be a satisfying conclusion. Lazy CW cant even change the wording on the previews to series not season finale.

Probably because there’s no cliffhanger and nothing setting up another season. They actually filmed a set up for next season in case they were renewed. But that won’t air in the finale.

Yeah I usually can see stuff coming, even if it's not entirely the whole thing I can sort of get a general picture having seen so much TV... but I can honestly say I didn't see that coming.

Supposedly season 4 was going to be "insane" and if we saw the alt ending, we'd be mad we don't get it. And they might put it on the DVD (or, BD).

Good episode this week! (No Grandma or Grandpa Mahkent, finally!) Loved the twist! Nice to see Brec in a couple of scenes, her performance telling Sylvester that

was just great! (Would be nice to see her in her Stargirl outfit at least one more time before the end!) Wonderful to see Cindy back for more than a cameo! I'm gonna miss these guys!

CW is such a mess maybe they are gonna mistakenly air the cliffhanger episode Instead of the closed ending they shot. Would not put that passed them.
