the other two titles are still better than this it has all the defects of previous titles + a dull fake kind-of colour tone..... o common yrf.....ddlj was older than this and what i liked in that was the vibrant colours .....!!

all the 3 classics RUINED......+ the disk will be an import so its price will naturally be high.....so NO BUY for me.....!!

BBR,

I am not too sure about your screen capture method since we have seen that the SS posted by you were quite different from the original image. I understand you had trouble in capturing screen.

Could you please let us know if the SS posted by you is closer to the actual image you are see in your TV/Display?

I don't want to judge based on the SS posted here. However, if this is the true representation of the PQ, it appears that YRF might have done a mistake by giving the authoring to Utech and not to Shemaroo.

I know Shemaroo has managed to gather a lot of bad name because of their 'Watermarks' issue, but in terms of PQ and AQ they are hard to beat (apart from color issues). They should have used Shemaroo without the Watermark.

Hi Anibap ,

We use dvd fab 8 to rip the BD and then play and pause the files and capture the image ,but the actual image we see is much better than the captured image thats why we state this is a rough guideline as a indication of the pq.

please dont judge them by our screen shots await members ss and reveiws .

Whats 'Absolutely disgraceful' is that the particular SS, which was obviously an intentional camera trick to blur Srk and focus on Rani (wide aperture used), is posted to condemn the PQ.

i completely agree. even in the theatre srk was blurred out to show rani. People are just trying to beat up this blu ray without even seeing it. Reminder to all. this movie is 12 years old. and pls dont compare that hollywood bd releases are better for older films cuz hollywood is hollywood we are still catching up.. for KKHH i'm sure yrf will give us the best they have with the original print. however i havent got my discs in yet when they come i will give my review.. but from past experience i only judge colours from these screenshots since the actual quality can only be seen on your lcd.

Those newer screencaps, while not perfect, look much better.

I think we're forgetting the main thing too!

How hideous the DVD release including the anamorphic re-issue are!

Scratches, dirt, cement joins (from the original negative, the most criminal the one on the opening dance of 'Tujhe Yaad Meru Aayee' creating an audible buzz on the surrounds!) and worst of all bad reel changeovers missing, severing music cues particularly on the fade off of the "Kuck Kuch" reprise that ends 'Ladki Badi Anjani Hai'.

It's one of my all time favourite films and it's about time it was treated with a little more care!

Early screenshots and smples I've seen on the net improve all this vastly.

Found this 720 link by digging.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/7o6taf

Bearing in mind that's a squished rip of the actual disc, consider it ordered!
