I tried playing Killzone 2 a couple of times, even on easy setting, and just didn't like the game. Military shooters just aren't my games. I also still found the range of view confining. Probably 30-40 degrees. When looking straight ahead, we can still see about 80 degrees from left to right. I don't recall, if Killzone 2 had shooting from around corner, but the shooting over cover was decent enough.

Yep you could shoot around corners. You may want to give it another go, as the controls have been giving an optional change so there isn't such a wieghty feel to them (this wasn't initially available), this makes moving, aiming shotting and everyhting else easier and less cumbersome (more as if your character was not wearing all the equipement he is). That bieng said if Killzone 2 wasn't for you, i'm guessing no fps will be for you.

Have you tried Mirrors Edge?
