Cool, thanks. But I do all my gaming on the Xbox 360, which isn't all that much to begin with. I sold all my games except for the 8 or so that I really enjoyed.

Actually, I lied. I do some Wii gaming, too...but I typically only buy very strange games for dirt cheap because I think they're funny as hell.

I don't play movies on any console, but my PS3 hasn't seen much gaming outside of GT5 & Heavy Rain. The vast majority of my gaming is on the 360.

I don't know if I actually posted my list of consoles owned. If I have, sorry but here goes again (all at launch), with my favorite game or two for each...

Atari VCS (2600): Adventure & Pitfall
Atari 5200: Countermeasure, Jungle Hunt, Joust & Dig Dug
Atari 7800: Pole Position II
Atari LYNX: Todd's Adventures in Slime World
Atari Jaguar: DOOM (best version of DOOM available) & AvP
Atari 130XE Computer: Rescue on Fractalus

Coleco ColecoVision: Donkey Kong

Mattel Intellivision: Can't think of one

Sega Genesis: Phantasy Star II-IV, Flashback, The Sword of Vermillion & Shining Force (I could go on & on)
Sega CD: The Adventures of Willy Beamish & S.N.A.T.C.H.E.R.
Sega 32X: None really
Sega Dreamcast (x3): Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue, Seaman, PSO & Tokyo Extreme Racer

Sony Playstation: FFVII-IX, Resident Evil, Blood Omen: The Legacy of Kain, GT2... I could go on & on & on (the best library of all-time)
Sony PS2: GT4, FFX & Dog's Life
Sony PS3: GT5 & Heavy Rain

Microsoft Xbox: KotOR (my favorite game ever), NFS Underground 2, The Urbz & TJ&E 3
Microsoft Xbox 360 (x2): TDU, FM3 & Dragon Age Origins

Panasonic 3DO: The Need for Speed

Nintendo Gamecube: Animal Crossing & Mario Kart Double Dash
Nintendo Wii: The Sims Castaway
Nintendo DS: (bought it for the Wife)

I've owned probably around 1500 games, but that's a complete guess.

Edit: Looking back, I had already posted my console list. It was actually incomplete, so I deleted the post.

I own the three majors. My favorites for each are:

360: Condemned (the original)
PS3: GOW3
Wii: (Don't play this one a lot, as I bought it for the wife, but I would go with New Super Mario Bros.)

To take it a step further, I am currently playing:

360: (My main game system) Enslaved, with a side order of Dead Space 2 DLC, Fallout: NV, and Bulletstorm. Sprinkles of MvC3 and various arcade hits thrown in for flavor.

You never owned a NES or SNES Pooh? Given your history of consoles I would have thought you'd have those!

No. When the NES came out, I was mainly into Atari. When the SNES was around, I was primarily a Sega player. It's not that I was a fanboy (the term didn't even exist back then), I just wasn't into Nintendo. To be completely honest, I'm still not. I only own Nintendo consoles now because at this point, I feel I need to own every console just to have a mediocre selection of games. Sure, there's a few Nintendo exclusives that I truly love, but on the whole, I'm just not feelin' The Big N (as it used to be called). If you notice, no N64 either... I did actually purchase an N64, but returned it after coming down with buyer's remorse.

I never get rid of things I buy. Why buy something you like only to get rid of it? I still own all my consoles and games. I have only gotten rid of a very select few games, ever. Diakatana for the N64 being one of them. One of the WORST games ever made, for any console.

I don't anymore. In fact, I'm always the first to advise against getting rid of consoles or games, even ones someone doesn't like. My 2600, along with all of it's games & acessories was stolen many years ago. I also sold my Genesis/Sega CD (my biggest regret) & 3DO (no real loss) to people who really wanted them. I have since repurchased the consoles, but I don't have anywhere near the amount of games for them that I once did. Other than those, I still have everything, locked up in storage, in mint condition.

The NES and SNES had some awesome games! I know a good bulk of them are on the Wii's Virtual Console, you should check some of them out I actually have more games for the VC than I do actual Wii games

Because I love the Dreamcast! It started when I bought a second Dreamcast and a serial cable to set up head-to-head matches with Ferrari F355 Challenge and Virtual On. Then when Sega Announced production was ceasing on the Dreamcast, I bought a couple of more as spares.

The Dreamcast is an amazing arcade machine. I think I have close to 200 original Dreamcast games now.

IMHO, the Dreamcast was the last great console & had the last great library.

100% agree.

I just played Dreamcast last night instead of my PS3. It was the last system designed before arcade games died off. Dreamcast was designed in conjunction with the NAOMI arcade platform, so it had a TON of arcade perfect ports. That gave Dreamcast a ton of variety. Not only did it offer great adventure experiences like Phantasy Star Online, Shenmue, and Headhunter, but also great arcade games like F355 Challenge, Daytona, House of the Dead 2, Soul Calibur, and Sega Marine Fishing.

.
Best thing about DC is you can download games, burn them, and play them. Some need a boot disk, but that's all.
