Default Annoying “pack rat” habits I have.

So this is something I’ve noticed as my collection grows.. I keep a lot of games I don’t “need” (same with Blu-rays, but that’s a different story lol).

Like, fortunately it’s just games and they don’t take up THAT much space, but it’s still annoying.

One annoying thing is having different versions. Take Pikmin for example. I have the original GameCube versions of the games, but I also have the Wii remakes which are great because you get a true widescreen format and the pointer controls work SO well with that series. Am I ever going to willingly pick the GameCube versions to play? Probably not. But I keep them “just in case my Wii breaks and I feel the urge to play Pikmin” or “what if I’m ever in the mood to play with non-pointer controls?”. The same can actually be applied to the Metroid Prime trilogy.

Those at least kind of make sense. But I have others, like the Kingdom Hearts games. I have the original PS2 versions of course, but also the PS4 versions. I’m never gonna play the old ones again.. why keep them? Same with Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD.

And then of course there are games I got as gifts that I feel sort of “guilty” getting rid of lol.

Just needed to get that off my chest.
