I love those unrated movies but I'm not going SD over HD just because of it.

Going to get 2 cheesy movies today in Just My Luck and John Tucker Must Die, probably at BB unless I can find them for less somewhere else.

+1. I can't do it either.

It's been a quiet few weeks for blu-ray release. Nothing has my interest piqued enough to buy them. Blockbuster just sent me Final Destination 5 and the new Fright Night.

To each his own. It's not a Die Hard movie with out the R rating. You have the Oppo and I thought one of it's renown advantages was it's ability to upconvert. Is this not the case?

That is what they say but to be honest I never thought of that feature when I bought the Oppo. I bought it for music and BDs. Back to Diehard, it would take a lot more than a few f bombs for me to give up HD and DTS-MA.

What a spoiled little kid. J/K my friend. But I was disappointed that they did the Die Hard 4 that way.

There isn't enough difference in Die Hard 4.0's DVD and BD to make me get the DVD. The BD has awesome AQ. One of my favorites to blast when wife is away.

But, I still won't buy Star Wars on BD because the diffences between the theatrical cuts and the new bastardized cuts is ginormous. Not just a couple f bombs.

I haven't followed any of those SW version differences, can you give me a summary?

Biggest is the added CGI aliens and the music change in the last scene of Jedi.

Just go to the SW Thread, click on any page just before the set(s) came out, & I give you 6 minutes til' ur head Explodes...

** Edit: The same holds true for weeks/months Before the Release, & EVERY DAY SINCE the release. Exploding Heads would abound **

Then I should lower my target price when to buy the set. Maybe $45.

No thank you, I'd rather keep my sanity. People here can get crazy on certain topics. A good example is the new BB DVD trade-in thread. More than 2000 posts just for the damn $5 coupon?

You guys really should get the SW set. Yes, I'm talking to you MU and Travis. It really is a fun watch. Especially when you get to the OT. It will bring you back to when you were a kid again. We watched all six and I immediately wanted to start over again. So did my kids. Now quit whining and get the set. Lol. You can get two of the SW sets for one bottle of the Blue, MU.

Now what's the story on this Best Buy trade in coupon?

Good evening Wabo, I did not realize you turn into the ultimate SW geek. I think they have cures for that syndrome. Have you placed my order for that ruben sammich to be shipped to my house yet?

Basically bring in any DVD
[Show spoiler](original case with UPC on the back)
& use that towards $5 off ANY Blu-ray that's $9.99 & above. So it's mainly good for Catalog titles really, though some fairly new ones are $14.99, which would make your cost $9.99. The majority of people are using it for the those ($14.99, $12.99, $9.99, etc.), making their costs $9.99 & below for the most part. It runs thru 1/28/12.

Yeah, what wabo said, just buy the set.

Now for the BB coupon. Take any DVD, and I mean any DVD that was bought at a store, to BB and get $5 off any Blu-ray. Check a few posts up for my first haul. Today I got American Gangster for $4.99, and Contagion for $14.99, single disc version. Good deals but the main reason I was in was a gift card and RZ money I had.

Edit, darn I type slow.

I have a high midichlorian count.

You should be dining on some sweet southern fried delicious whilst you're in Alabammy.

This sounds like it has the potential to send the frustration meter into the red and thru the roof. I've had nothing but headaches trying to use coupons at Best Buy. This sounds like a pretty good deal, hopefully corporate has sent enough memos and filled in the employees into what they're supposed to do. Do I need to print off any special coupon? So any BD $9.99 and up is eligible? Even if said BD was $19.99 and is now on sale for $14.99 will I get it for $9.99? I better stock up on Ibuprofen before I go in.
