We really hope people find the navigation easy enough to use. It was difficult to figure out how to manage all of the content. Its also an evolution of the first disc.
Using the advanced video image as an example. Once you select a feature area on the left, then the first tab is highlighted and nothing is displayed below. You can either press enter or down arrow on any tab and the content will appear. To get out of there you have some choices. To go back to the left area, press left until you reach the far left. e.g. If the highlight is on Clipping and you press left, you are not back on advanced and can move up down. If you would rather get back to the tabs to change areas, then press up arrow and the tab will have focus again. It should not take long to get used to it. The menus are always in 2D. This means when you are in 3D mode, you experience a mode switch going to and from the menu. To minimize this, you use the left and right arrows to navigate once you are playing content. This way you only get the mode switch going to the first pattern. Then you stay on the patterns until you return to the menu. This time around the enter button will also return you to the menu. This way you can fully navigate the disc without repositioning your hand on the remote. Enter to play a pattern and enter to return to the menu. Arrow keys to navigate a menu and arrows keys to navigate to the previous or next clip. Arrow keys to display and hide help. Makes it easy if you are a calibrator and not learning a new remote, especially in the dark. The patterns under video calibration are the friendly names of patterns to help someone with less experience match it with the name on the TV. Those same patterns, and alternate versions, exist in the advanced video section under their technical names. |

We are working on a new website. We hope to launch it around 4/15. It has screenshots of all menus so you can get an idea of how much content.
We are in the process of updating existing articles to match the new disc. From the menu of the website you can choose the 1st or 2nd edition articles. This way the original versions are archived for those using the first disc. Same thing for the FAQ. |

We just launched our new website this morning. It may take some time to work out the kinks. http://www.spearsandmunsil.com/
The site has the press release for the new disc, a product page so you can see all of the menus, and a 2nd edition article page with all of the articles updated for the new disc. |

The last discs was sold two ways on Amazon. First as a store front, where OPPO and others sold it. Second was fulfilled by Amazon where you get Prime shipping. Fulfilled will take 1-2 weeks since it requires both shipping and ingesting. The first method will probably come next week.

Its currently in the OPPO store on Amazon. As soon as the discs are actually in the Amazon warehouse, you will be able to place more international orders and also be eligible for the Prime discount. Usually takes one to two weeks between shipment and ingestion.
If you email OPPO, you can fill out a quick form and they can ship. Others have done that. |

If there is a reviewer from Blu-ray.com that would like to review it, they can send me an email with their address and a disc will be shipped out to them.
There was also previous discussion about getting a couple of copies to give away. We can take care of that too. |
