Australia Community on blu-ray?

I don't understand why Community isn't on blu-ray, especially it's recently released 3rd season! The show looks suprisingly good most of the time on dvd so I can only imagine how fantastic it would look on blu-ray.

I haven't watched the 3rd season yet because I like to wait until each season of my favourite shows get home media releases before bothering (it makes the purchase feel much more worth it and ad breaks ruin the good mood the shows put me in) and I can't do that until it gets a blu-ray release.

I have the first two seasons on dvd already which bothers me to no end, but I'm unwilling to buy the 3rd season on dvd because knowing my luck, I'll just do it and then a month later a blu-ray release for them all will be announced.

It's driving me nuts.

I dunno....If they can't even be bothered doing a PAL conversion for the DVDS then the chance that they'll be bothered releasing it on blu-ray isn't toooo likely.

I feel the same way about a lot of shows. X files, Buffy, Angel, Eureka, How I met your Mother, Arrested Development, Oz and Inbetweeners are some shows that aren't on Blu-ray and it's a shame they aren't

Oh and if they can do "friends" then surely they could do Everybody Loves Raymond, The Mighty Boosh, Home Improvement, Marries with Children and The King of Queens. I would love to see this happen.

Also imagine all of the goosebumps, Tales from the Crypt and Round the Twist on Blu-ray.

Man I know half of these will never happen but a man can hope

I think Friends and Entourage will be the big test for catalog tv on blu, if they go well I suspect we will see more, particularly from Warner.

Now that the show is cancelled, maybe we'll get a complete series box set on Blu-ray? Maybe they'll attempt it when a potential movie is being released.

Community was a great show. Just a shame season six was a Yahoo exclusive and the only way to watch in here would be to do it illegally. Or importing the DVD when released. Not even sure if it will get a local DVD release.

Would be good if they released this on blu-ray.

Most stuff after season 2 is a bit crap, but at least for the first two seasons, great show. Would absolutely love a blu ray release.

I recently watched s3 (yes yes 3 yrs behind I know) and found it to be much better than 1 or 2 personally.

This thread is mainly about the blu ray but I'll just say I felt like after season 2 the characters started serving the plots, instead of the other way around, and the show became much more cartoonish and gimmicky (even though there were some pretty out there episodes in season 2).

fair enough, for me this show actually works best when it is more out there because it relies so heavily on meta/referencial humour.

Eureka Complete Series can be purchased on Bluray from Amazon Germany. It usually goes pretty cheap. I got it for around $60AUS sometime back.
