I found Star Wars power disc sets for $1.99 at Best Buy yesterday. Managed to get Twilight of the Republic and Rise of the Empire discs for the kid. Get 'em before they're all gone...

Best Buy has the Rise Against the Empire playset for $19.99, plus a few figures for $7.99: Darth Maul, Han Solo, Obi-Wan, Poe Dameron, and Kylo Ren (non-light FX version.)

Target Cartwheel has all Infinity 3.0 figures 40% off (roughly $8.50 each), 2.0 figures 70% off.

I was hoping the Marvel Battlegrounds playset would be a daily deal at Best Buy or Amazon today for that reason. I've got all the Marvel characters, but I don't have that playset.

i finally caved and bought my first figure: Hulkbuster
used cartwheel at target plus red card today to get it for about $7.xx

they didn't have any of the 1.0 figures which are 75% off with cartwheel

Disney just killed Infinity. I'd expect massive clearance prices in the near future so stores can make room for other stuff. Should be a good time to pick up anything you might be missing. Sad to see it's done though because my son loves the figures.

Yeah, it says in the articles that the Alice releases are still coming out this month and the Finding Dory release next month. Those are the last 2 as well as it no longer receiving updates after June/July. Pretty sad to see this go. I just bought the starter pack and some figures last month, haven't even got around to playing it yet

Aww man... Figures just when I decide to jump in. Well, guess I'm fortunate to have only picked up a few figures outside the 1.0 and 2.0 starter sets (picked up both on clearance).

I don't know if I'll ever pick up 3.0 now, but I still want to get the Sam Flynn and Quorra figures as who knows when Disney will make anything Tron in the future.

I have been disappointed that Disney turned the game into "let's sell figures just for what's big this year". Limiting which figures can play through given areas was also disappointing, I.E. can't play as Nick Fury in the Avengers zone, really?

I had high hopes originally that Disney would open up the vault with things like:

--a full blown Tron world to play through
--the Gummi Bears and their world
--Darkwing Duck + Gizmo Duck with matching world if not a full blown Ducktales world
--Zorro (or perhaps a combined Disney pulp world that also features Dr. Syn)

Apparently the Target Cartwheel doesn't work on the 2.0 starter kits, wouldn't work for the Marvel Heroes one, looks like just figures and discs.

Did get the last Marvel starter kit at Shopko for 7.99 on clearance, on the normal shelf, but not sure if YMMV or not....sticker showed 15.99 clearance, was pleasantly surprised.

Damn I got lucky I was thinking about picking up Disney Infinity for the Star Wars the Force Awakens stuff when it came out. I guess I dodged a bullet.

are you sure? i scanned a PS3 version today that came with Merida and Stitch under the cartwheel app, and the 75% off deal popped up

I read the Kotaku article and it is a shame that Disney was so uptight about mixing their properties. They could have had a lot of fun with it if they would have lightened up about that.

I only collected the Star Wars figures and still needed the Force Awakens pack. Still plan on getting it but I will continue to wait for a discounted price.

As far as the game goes, I really only played the Star Wars stuff and found it somewhat lackluster. Like a watered down Lego videogame. The appeal for me was mostly in getting to play as the characters. Especially the Clone Wars and Rebels characters. I thought that was pretty cool.

Still waiting on a proper Star Wars game for the PS4 with a good story (canon or not) that allows you to use recognizable / familiar characters.
