UPS are picking it up today. Amazon wouldn't entertain sending out a C2 at a reduced price, LOL. Believe me, I asked.
Grabbed one from Best Buy instead. Would rather deal with bricks and mortar with any issues going forward. Seems like the pixel scrub of the C2 has helped. Will check it out more later.

Maybe Robert can answer this or why doesn't AI Pictures work on streaming Apps or Netflix ?

What's the point investing in AI when it only works if u put ur Hard Drive or Blue rays?

Yeah. My TV was glitching for some reason. It would not load the LG Content Store. This has happened to a few people so I followed their video as how to solve it. All I needed to do is switch my location to somewhere else and switch it back and it took it out of the glitch.

Everything is working fine now!

Where can I go to find the best calibration settings for my C2? Is there a good video on YouTube that’s easy to follow?

This is pretty simple and will explain the most accurate out of box settings. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c2-oled/settings

Though when I had a LG OLED, for Gamma I preferred how BT1886 looked over 2.2.

Just listen to them when they tell you not to copy the things under the White balance heading.

Hire someone to do a proper calibration, just copying somebody else's settings isn't going to get you very far.

It's good for finding the best OOB settings though.

As I mentioned above, as long as people don't do silly things and try and copy all the white balance and colour space settings over.

I have to question rtings recommended Peak Brightness setting of "High" for SDR. In earlier models it should be set to "Off" for SDR, and "High" only for HDR and DV.

I prefer 2.4 gamma for SDR. BT1886 includes extra processing to compensate for black level that isn't true black (zero light output). Since our OLEDs are capable of true zero light output black, the results of using BT1886 should be the same as 2.4 gamma.

I’ve had my LG C2 for about a week and half now and still on the fence of keeping it or switching over for the Sony A90K. I don’t play video games so I don’t need all the peek brightness. I pretty much watch 4K movies, sports and streaming. Seen the a90k in person and it also looks great. But something tells me to take it back and get the Sony. I’ve had several issues with the audio not staying on while running threw my tower speakers that I never experienced before with my older Vizio. One hdmi cable is all I needed to run all my components vs the LG where all my cables has to run into the back of the LG. And i think the Sony looks more premium and better built than the LG.

Any of you with both the C1 and PS5 experienced heavy banding in 4K HDR games? I can’t believe what I’m looking at on my set - first time using a PS5 on it, playing Death Stranding DC disc, the banding in the sky/clouds is sub 480p YouTube quality. It looks like I’m watching a VHS recording played back on the internet. A shame because other parts of the image are excellent. Am I missing some setting? This is happening in all of the HDR modes.

Do older films benefit from OLED? What about 70s and 80s movies?

Yes. From B&W to Pixar. I went to the movies a few weeks ago for the first time since Covid hit (to see an older film that they presumably played off a stream or BD) and couldn’t help but think how much better my at home setup looked than the big screen there with its milky black levels.

Yeah, I saw The Thing (1982) in the theatre last summer, and it looked awful compared to watching the 4K on my OLED. Everything looked washed out and faded.

That's because of a Fathom Events screw up. You can read all about it here: https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/...dnesday-night/
