One of my favorite Bond movies.

If I could keep only one James Bond movie in my collection, without hesitation it would be GOLDFINGER. If I could keep two, I would keep two copies of GOLDFINGER, in case one gets scratched!

And yet, I find it rather subversive for a Bond movie. Bond frequently messes things up; he fails to save TWO women, cheats to win a golf match, gets captured, tries to escape, wrecks his car and is recaptured, escapes, gets recaptured again, his warning note gets crushed in a car, he gets strapped to an atomic bomb which he personally fails to defuse, gets captured by Goldfinger AGAIN, and doesn't actually kill him in hand to hand combat. He doesn't even get to say, "My name is Bond. James Bond."

But for all that, it's still practically perfect in every way. I love every minute.

To be fair, regarding the golf, he only cheats a cheater. Beats him at his own game.
