Defeated another boss. I had so much difficulty traversing Tomb of the Giants. It was practically pitch black and I didnít get the skull lantern till the halfway point.

I am glad this area is done!

Defeated another boss. Only 1 attempt.

Trying to figure out Knight Artorias. Those somersault attacks are ridiculous.

Defeated another boss. This took around 20 tries. I figured out his openings to attack. His aerial & somersault attacks are to be avoided only. My second DLC boss killed.

Earned 50K Souls.

Defeated another boss. This was tough and took around 45 tries. I had the most difficulty with his 5-hit combo attack. I just tanked him by keeping my shield up the whole time. I used all 20 Estus and 2 Humanities (health restore) just to beat Manus.

Earned 60K Souls.

Only 2 bosses left.

Defeated another boss. This took 5 attempts. Last DLC boss killed!
Earned 60K Souls.

Cool levitation trick.

One boss left! I have a warning to Lord of Cinder. I have 80 Humanities at my disposal and I will use all of them against you.

Finally! Defeated Gwyn on Friday and finished Dark Souls 1 & the trilogy. No summons for NPC for any boss fights.

[Show spoiler]

Gwyn was a tough boss fight and took around 25 attempts. I found a large rock pillar to avoid his attacks and heal. I used 2 additional Humanities.
I can see the similarities with Gwyn & Soul of Cinder in DS3. The behavior-attacks, weapon and music score.

Earned 70K Souls.

I am taking a 72-hour break before I start playing a new game.

My final thoughts.........

This is a good, not great, game. The best part of this game is that the bosses are the easiest compared to the other two games. Areas are easier to explore and farming and upgrading your attributes shouldn’t be a problem. I didn’t need to summon a single NPC for help in any boss fight, too.

What I did not like was the inability to warp between bon fires for the first half of the game. This was very difficult for me to adjust to.

It is obvious that Dark Souls 3 is the best of the trilogy. It removes the crap from DS 1 & 2 and is more polished.

I did noticed that the enemies will notice you from afar and will travel further distances to attack you. Four Kings is the only boss in the trilogy where you have to button-mash to kill them.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I am glad that I completed the Dark Souls trilogy.

As always........Git Gud!!
