Well technically we aren't official. We just started as bunch of guys playing cod and have evolved. Think we have a little alliance going on so no need to shake things up. Many of us are probably already on a lot of each others friends list.

You can join more than 1 clan in destiny. They appear as Groups on the Bungie website. You can only have 1 active clan at a time though. So you could add Saracens and Blu clan and just alternate between the two.

Unfortunately not yet but there is I think an area on the app that shows group members in the clan that are active and should have their IDs on. Just add the people on this thread that correspond with your timezone to start with.

The usual way to know is that when you are checking friends and scrolling over names, a clan tag would appear.

I just wanted to remind people to please visit Bungie.net and set the clan as active by click the PlayStation clan button. That way you're all set for earning trophies in strike and rai when it goes live.

Lastly, I have a level 21 now, but i'm starting a new char again to get to raid ready status in time for when they open it. Feel free to add me if you just started or have one high level. I'm going to be levelling two new characters every two days starting from today to get them raid ready.

Look forwards to playing more with some of you i've got on friends list. Please do find the included 3.5mm ear piece Sony includes in the PS4 box as we usually can communicate and work together much more effectively. I won't lie though. Profanity can be commonlplace when frustration is met

In game hit to bring up the friends list and on their title card it will say what clan they are in. That's the only way I know of seeing people in game.

The vanguard playlist is where all the items for 20+ seem to mainly drop. Its located next to the crucible icon.

Hopefully we can game. Bit difficult to team with some members cause we're usually with other people in fireteams rather than crucible where we can have 6. Raid should vhange that though.

Thanks buddy. I'll have to see about puttibg one together when I get time. Atm i'm trying to get raid ready. Hopefully some of you guys are also hitting the cap and working on light to get to level 26.

crucible marks and reputation for factions play a crucial part, so be aware of those factors. Do a bit of reading via guidesand it can go a long way.

Pro tip; strange currency and motes of light are the currency for exotics on the Agent of the Nine vendor

So does anybody know the "proper" way to beat that damn ogre at the end of the Moon Strike?

Both times I've just gone out Rambo style blasting his stomach whilst trying to hide behind the pillars as he fires his eye lasers. At the same time my buddy hangs back in the entrance (the second one back, because if you stay in the first one by the door the big laser spawns above your head). That way I die I just have to wait the 30secs to respawn then repeat.

Yhere's got to be an easier way?

I haven't done any strike missions since the Beta and I just picked up a bouty on Phogoth the Ogre so I just may hit him this weekend. As far as strategy goes, this is from the official strategy guide:

Eye Blast:

Phogoth has a similar Eye Blast to the minor Ogres, but it is a much more powerful and suppressive fire. Do not stand still in the open or this deadly projectile will find you.
Ground Slam:

Get close to the behemoth and he releases a 360-degree ground slam that knocks you back.
Strategy

This battle takes place in a huge arena with high balconies surrounding all but one side, where a lower platform can offer a short period of respite. Despite his powerful attacks and high Vitality, the boss isn’t the toughest part of this fight. It is the huge amounts of Hive minions who occupy the platforms and are added in waves throughout the combat.

The door opens up to reveal the beast chained up, trying to break free, as Hive enemies are strewn all over the arena. One big difference between Phogoth and typical Ogres is its weak spot. Instead of the forehead, you need to focus your attacks at its chest, which can be tough to hit when it slouches over.

From the doorway, spend a little time focusing all attacks at its weak spot before the Thrall reach your position. As a deterrent, any time you spend too much time in the small entryway, these Thrall enter the room and a Shrieker appears high in the corner. Therefore, it is suggested you move out into the arena, before this happens.

From here on, things get really chaotic. There isn’t a safe location to fire from and hold, since the Hive will seek you out wherever you hide. Stay on the move, switching between the floor and high balconies to avoid being overwhelmed. There are multiple ways to handle this fight, but one tactic is to dedicate two players to managing the additional enemies, while the third player focuses solely on the boss.

The lower platform at the end of the arena is often a good spot to escape to, but be aware of incoming drop ships. The Hive may spawn right on top of you, if you aren’t careful.

If you are the last Guardian standing, it is often best to just stay alive until another member of your Fireteam respawns. Only risk reviving a teammate if you are sure you can do so safely. Continue to eat away at Phogoth’s health until it collapses.

With the big guy finally defeated, search the area for loot. If you haven’t already done so, grab the Gold Chest on the lower platform, between the stairs. At the Tower, turn in the Silken Codex to the Cryptarch.

I found that a good heavy weapon with high damage is very effective against bosses. Machine guns at controlled bursts will keep on target too. Good luck.
