Sunday Nights Flawless Raid Attempt

So far, Emperor_Keyser (Died 1st, hit ground to hard jumping down to Templar)

Blu-Kyle (Died 2nd, Fanatic blew up)

Blu-Benny (Died 3rd, somehow blew himself up with a rocket. He claims to have not fired his rocket inside or at a Titan bubble, but we all know the truth. Pro Tip: Titan's, do not share your bubble with a Warlock. Warlocks do not understand the simple mechanics of the bubble, nothing in, nothing out.)

Tonight's flawless raid attempts ended after, I think 5 tries. The very last try we were fighting the Templar, we got detained as usual. But KenKeith and ScarletKnight stayed detained after they broke out of their bubble. They could still fight but the moved very slow and could barely jump. We killed the Templar and KenKeith and ScarletKnight stayed "detained". So the remaining 4 were going to give it a go. Emperor_Keyser ended up getting a Gjhallhorn out of the exotic chest and we died to the Gorgons.

After that we just practiced the Gorgon maze and jump puzzle and attempted 4 manning the Gatekeeper but no luck.

seriously though.....my screen wasn't blue or anything like when you're in the bubble yet i blew up.

i wish i would've looked at the reason it gave me when i died......i don't remember seeing anyone or anything.....maybe someone or a harpy got in my line of sight when i fired.....that would make more sense than the bubble theory.

I've read elsewhere that you CAN actually fire a rocket out of the relic bubble. It's just that with 6 people packed in there, you usually end up firing it into the back of someone on accident. Not sure how accurate this is, but I accidentally shot a rocket out of the bubble last week and did not die (ran out of IB ammo, and forgot I had RL equipped to deal with Praetorian on Venus instead of CM as usual).

That being said, unless everyone is firing rockets, they shouldn't be used, as they make Atheon move, which screws up everyone sniping his crit (which is what everyone should be doing).

i've learned to never use a rocket launcher when attacking Atheon......can never tell where the relic bubble ends and the titan bubble begins.

I'm more then willing to be the Relic guy for every attempt if that is ok with everyone. I'll even do the relic to help people out after we get the flawless raid trophy.

I don't think anyone would veto you being the Relic holder each attempt. I think that's the only way we'll ever get this trophy because I think you're the the only guy that would give us a chance getting this trophy for all of us.

It's a stressful job against the Templar but you handle it so smoothy.

Didn't we practice the maze last night?

Also we need a strategy when we get to the Gatekeeper, and also hope you get teleported each time against Atheon. I know some of us know the concept of handling the relic, but we've been relying on you when were up against Atheon.

I have faith that anyone of you guys can successfully use the relic at the Gatekeeper and Atheon. The biggest hurdle with the relic is when you get sent to the future (Venus) and there are the Praetorian and Hobgoblins you have to kill. They are the biggest danger IMO. But if two guys throw grenades and the relic holder goes right (I think) around a small wall you can sneak up on them, jump and shield bash them all if they are grouped up.

i've been able to handle the relic on Mars on normal runs in the past. haven't tried Venus in a while.

we def. need 6 guys to finish the gatekeeper.
