Just heard about this over on Techdirt but it seems that the TSA has lost its mind once again. They are reporting that an attendee at Comic Con has tweeted a picture that states all books will now be searched and that Comic Con attendees must remove any books from their carry-on luggage. That comic books cannot be stored in checked luggage either.
This is about the most insane move I have ever heard the TSA of taking. I'm curious about what other attendees to the convention has experienced over this? What is the TSA afraid of? Exploding comic books? That only happens with cell phone batteries. ![]() ![]() Source: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20...s-not-us.shtml |
