I am a member of Amazon vine - a program where you get free stuff once a month from a selection of items that publishers or producers want reviewed on amazon.com. The newsletter is issued on Thursday at 3:00 PM. I did not get to it until 3:30 PM. Guess what I had in my newsletter, guess what I would have gotten brand new free of charge if I had been faster....

Yeah....A FREAKING $1000 RECEIVER!!!!!!! AGH! It's sold out in the vine program now and all I'm left with is avery paper products and Christian books. I'm so pissed off.

Look on the bright side.... you can read some christian books and then write a report about them on some very nice paper

Lol, one of these days I'll actually have something in this newsletter that I'll actually order. So far its pretty much a tease. I guess you have to look on the bright side. A new receiver would have meant needing new speakers & better wire. New speakers and I would end up wanting new furniture. New furniture you mine as well get a new fridge for all the extra people who would end up coming over cause I'd once again have the best home theater in the neighborhood. See, it was a blessing in disguise not to get it. Right? Right?

It's not a mystery. Been around for at least a year.
Amazon will invite you to the program, but those "invited" need to be a regular and early reviewer of products, mostly books.
