Default Star Wars and the Power of Costume Exhibit

The brand new Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibit will be debuting here in Seattle on Saturday January 31st at the EMP Museum in downtown Seattle. It will run through October 4, 2015.

They are holding an open house grand opening this Friday evening January 30th with guests Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and a few others. From what I have been told only those with a $1500+ yearly membership will be able to do a meet and greet with them but they will also be speaking briefly that anyone can attend. It is a timed exhibit on Friday meaning they are having people purchase tickets and select a time frame. Every 20 minutes they let people in and for the grand opening event, all times up until 10pm are sold out, but it will go until 1:00am.

Starting on Saturday the 31st the exhibit will open to the public.

More information regarding the grand opening Friday January 30th Open House can be found here:

More information regarding the event opening on Saturday January 31st can be found here:

The complete list of original Star Wars costumes on display can be found here (PDF file):

So if you are a big Star Wars fan and always wanted to visit the great Pacific Northwest, come on up, or if you are coming up for the Emerald City Comic-Con in late March in Seattle, you can hit up this exhibit as well while you are here.
