Red face Help with a new Camera

Hi guy and gals

I in the market for a new Camera and Iím looking for one which has around 10-12 Megapixels and also has High Definition Movie Recording 720p should be fine
The idea is to take pictures when Iím out with friends and family and them take the card out of the camera and put it into the PS3 to view the pics and video as for price around £100-£150 GBP mark

I was looking at the Samsung NV24 HD which looks ideal but some people say the sound keeps on cutting out and the Kodak Easyshare Z1285 (but this one is QuickTime so the video might not work straight from the card)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You could go with something like the Panasonic TZ5, which is compact, has a Leica lens (10 times optical zoom), 9 mega pixels, and 720p video.

But, you would be better off getting a Sony HDR-SR11 or SR12 which is a compact video camera which does 1080x1920 at 16mbs (AVCHD), has a Carl Zeiss lens, Exmor CMOS image sensor, 5.1 recording and does 10.2 mega pixel stills.

The Panasonic TZ5 looks nice but as for the Sony HDR-SR11 that will be my next buy
This camera is for the wife so has to fit into her hand bag

My friend and my sister in law both have the TZ5s now. Excellent camera! had it on sale for $270.

or check out the TZ50 which adds Wi-Fi to the TZ5.
