Default Rugrats / Rugrats revival

https://deadline.com/2018/07/rugrats...nt-1202427458/

Quote:
Tommie, Chuckie and his pals are coming back ó on both TV and the big screen. Viacomís Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures have set a revival of the iconic kids series Rugrats with a 26-episode order from Nickelodeon and a live-action film featuring CGI characters from Paramount Players. Both the TV series and the movie will include new adventures with the famous characters Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie and Angelica, and will also introduce a new world of characters.
I'm in for the show, but hard pass on the CGI characters in a live-action film.

Loved the show in the 90s as a kid. Actually found a site that streams them all so might watch some for nostalgia sakes

I used to watch this show a lot when I had Nickelodeon on cable. I didn't expect this to come back for a revival. The movie might get interest from me once it comes out in the cinema.

This was my favorite nicktoon growing up. When I was a preteen/teen I still watched this even when I quit watching Nickelodeon, I even watched All Grown Up. However, I bought the DVDs when CreateSpace made them and the show started to go downhill after Dil was introduced. I still love the early seasons but I'm going to be precautious on this revival.
The movie I doubt I'll watch

Not a fan of the CG. I loved the style of the original animation.

It's not that I hate CG animation, but it just looks so bland.

already shared earlier but i like these designs! they look very faithful to the original designs. Hopefully the show is good and won't cause as much online discourse as Kamp Koral.

Absorbency diapers and lots of good fun?

Are childhood fantasies something you want?

Then grab all your toys and be an infant

Alright?

Love the sound. Still not a fan of the animation. It's a '90s classic, why not embrace that!
