It's impossible for Microsoft's team to do the perfect job for all the "perfect" users (clients).
No two people use Windows 10 the same, and there are a lot of people out there using Windows 10.
My own personal experience doesn't matter; what does is the general experience of all Windows 10 users. Some have pleasant dreams, others have nightmares.
It's nice to be free so that way dreams are more pleasant ...
There are alternatives, others than Windows 10 ...

I have been using 64 bit CPU’s and operating systems for over 12 years now. Sometime in the future I hope AMD and Intel develops 128 bit CPU's and motherboards. Then Microsoft could develop 128 bit operating systems. Call the new operating system Windows 12 Ultimate 128 bit or Windows 12 Professional 128 bit. Then there would be 128 bit Office, Microsoft Edge 128 bit, and other 128 bit applications made specially for the new 128 bit computer systems.

Then this would give me an excuse to upgrade my computer and my family members computers.

Few useful guidelines (tips) before proceeding with the latest ... 1903 (from last May big update) ...

For regular people no problemo; everyone knows this.
But for seasonal folks ... who wants more drama in their lives?

Me I'm always prepared before a big major update. But 99% of my friends aren't.
Windows 10 should come with a six-week course.

Ok, perhaps less, but nonetheless it's not everyone who is super prepared like the experts.
And even the experts find million of issues with version 1903.

Another issue is that when TurboTax is released in November 2019 of this year it will not install and run at all under Windows 7. In 2020 there is going to be many third party software and hardware companies that are not going to offer support for people still using Windows 7.

To get around some of the missing features issues, I use PowerDVD 19 Ultra for Blu-ray and DVD playback. I use a third party Windows experience index in Windows 10.

Overall there is some benefits to using Windows 10 Professional 64 bit edition once one disables the potential privacy issues with the microphones, cameras, etc. Windows 10 Professional 64 bit is more secure and faster operating system. I also noticed for some tasks the operating system uses around 10+ watts less since it is more energy efficient, however other tasks appeared to take 20 or 30 watts more under Windows 10. Windows 10 takes sometime to get use too. The Windows 10 automatic and manual update is much faster and greatly improved when compared to Windows 7.

I really like Microsoft Office 2019 64 bit Edition. It took awhile to download and burn a DVD-R installation disc. Some nice improvements when compared to Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit Edition.
Update: While it is true that when using TurboTax for the year 2018 that a message pops up on the screen mentioning that TurboTax 2019 and beyond requires Windows 10 and will not work with Windows 7. That policy has been recently changed and the coming November 2019 version of TurboTax will run on Windows 7, it is the November 2020 version of TurboTax that will not install and run on Windows 7 (Therefore people will need to upgrade to Windows 10).

"TurboTax for tax year 2019 and QuickBooks 2020 will install on Windows 7. When TurboTax for tax year 2020 and QuickBook 2021 are released, all TurboTax and QuickBooks desktop products will cease installing on Windows 7."

I wish they ported Turbo Tax 2020 to Windows Subsystem for Linux 2.0 on Windows 10. Then Turbo Tax would work on Ubuntu and Windows 10.
