That was cool at the end of the trailer. Reminds me of The Hobbit with the Rock Giants. Or Fellowship of the Rings' Cave Troll, and the 3 trolls from Hobbit 2 if I got that right.

I remember Netflix would release their shows on blu ray in the past. Like Daredevil the series. Sometimes Netflix will release their films in theaters, which is at least something.

Or the giant troll from Troll Hunter. I like how the guy puts it in drive and the car moves in reverse. They keep playing the first measure of the melody from In the Hall of the Mountain King. It would be nice if they used more of it and a couple of other Grieg pieces. Okay, I'm ready to hate-watch this!

Troll Hunter. I haven't seen that one yet. I did see Seventh Son, which had a big troll in it by the water fall in 3D though.

The whole set up is direct out of the template of a Godzilla, King Kong, Rampage, Giant Monster or Invasion movie, with the main focus no doubt on the humans researching, discovering, then preparing for the monster, and the Troll will probably only show up about 30% of the film.

It looks decent, good trailer though. Lots of carnage.

Is this another foreign language film?

Every time I click a movie that looks good, it has subtitles and I don’t like to read my movies.

Netflix needs to have a foreign language section.

I think this is because the quality of American movies is free-falling. Most good things on Netflix are not in English.

Dubbing is horrendous.

And I guess I’m supposed to feel bad that I don’t like reading movies?

I’m sure the filmmakers would love to know that I missed every scene because I read what is on the screen and by the time I look up, it’s already the next scene.

I’m such trash.

I know that I’m the problem when it comes to subtitles.

I think I’m just a slow reader.

And here comes a bigger shock: I’ve never seen Star Wars.

I can handle a few subtitles here and there that get mixed in, it’s just when the entire movie is subtitled, it overwhelms me.

The first subtitled film I saw was Farewell My Concubine back in ‘96 and it didn’t really bother me. I’m just going to assume it’s my old age.

How are you managing to miss scenes by reading subtitles? Are you spelling out individual letters?

Mainly within anime communities. Dubbing isn't all bad, but more often than not they get mainly bungled.

Not to mention massive errors in the dubs for GMK and Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.

Bro, by the time I’m done reading, I miss the scene.

Movie watching is supposed to be enjoyable and I hate dubbed stuff. It takes you out of the film.
