Replying for the post count as the last three replies to legit conversations havent been approved. Such a backward a system.

The question is what is in the post to cause it to be flagged?

Approval is only needed (virtually never given) if there are links, pictures, etc.

Until you get to 10+ posts (plus a day or two to have your acct upgrade) you should be limited to simple text replies. after you get past 10 posts you should never need approval unless your acct if flagged for suspected spam or abuse.

No idea. It was a substantial reply to a thread and a link out to a distributor site in it too. The 'needing approval' messaged flashed pretty quickly before disappearing then message went to the ether.

Either way, all done.

Almost certainly the external link triggered the "APPROVAL NEEDED" flag and over the years I can't remember ever hearing of one being approved honestly.

I'm actually not 100% if an internal link to a post or Bluray thread would have the same issue, but probably. Until you get 10+ posts , stay simple text only.

Looks like you just hit 10 so in a day or two it's probably moot for you, but maybe somebody else will find some use. I forget if you get upgraded from Junior Member to something else or if that;s a later step.

Does an image in a post mean it has to be approved?

I just replied to the All The Haunts Be Ours thread and my post contained a photo of my set which was delivered today.

Just about anything other than plain text (or the forum generated emojis/smilies I guess). I don't see another post under your name so it must have been flagged though normally you get an immediate message telling you AWAITING MODERATOR APPROVAL or something like it -- which of course is unlikely to ever happen

You only have one post. That's why the other one wasn't approved yet. You'll need at least ten posts before you can start posting pics.

I don't really understand, I've posted in some threads without issue and others the posts just disappear in the invisible awaiting moderation queue. No links or images, maybe forum emoji is enough to trigger the filter? Pretty strange tbh, is there even a way that I can see my pending posts?
