I'm on the fence with this one, too.

It has been awhile since Disney did a domestic 3D release.

Japan is showing six 3D releases:

IMHO, we will have disagreements but it is hoped that we here have much more in common than not. I believe we serve readers better when we post about our common interest here. For myself I like to read about members new equipment purchased, titles they liked or disliked, their experience, good or bad, with many aspects of home theater entertainment.

I want to see Blu-ray.com thrive and survive and it can that with ALL our support. I have seen very few collections that match what Vilya has so I know he is doing his part to support this hobby.

^So that's what the new 8K TVs look like!

It's cool that they included a retro VCR.

It looks like Paramount has goofed up next week's 4K release of

Mars has a peculiar new look:

"Here’s a projection screen photo of the 4K..."

https://thedigitalbits.com/columns/m...ts/092122-1315

Mars is also reportedly blue on the previously released 4K digital version and also on the Australian Imprint blu-ray.

This is what passes for QC anymore. It is just a momentary scene, but still getting the color of Mars right shouldn't have been hard to manage or the WRONG color hard to notice.

The Criterion blu-ray got it right.

Same shot from the Criterion blu-ray.

The one means a lot to me.

When I was about 14 my mom was dating a guy who loved movies and she refused to go to any. We had a kind of deal where he would take me to all the Conan, Beastmaster, Dragonslayer, type of movies in return I would go to see movies he wanted to see and I had no idea what to expect when we went to see this one. It was the first Monty Python movie I saw and I still love it.

Wasn't planning on getting the Hitchcock Classics Vol 2 because I have them all on Blu Ray (and DVD too), but Gruv had a sale and the 20% off coupon still works and even though they tend to ship slow to me I'm in no hurry.

Under $32 for 5 movies on UHD BD or $6.23 each ! I normally can't pass up UHD BD of anything I want for $10.

Crawl and Poltergiest are out for delivery going to have so much fun it's scary.

I can't stand the way that Universal packages their multi-disc sets into these vice grip tight cardboard sleeves.

I instead bought each title individually to have each movie in its own proper case. It cost a lot more, but I felt that the better packaging was worth it.

I enjoy the occasional exceptional Western. Is this movie exceptional in your opinions?

The tightest book sleeve title I have is Weeds.
As tight as it looks.

I love the show though.

If I can get a disc out, ... I have to clean the finger prints off.
Wear neoprene gloves or grab them with a microfiber cloth; it will prevent fingerprints.

Forum member Bolty recommended these anti-static sleeves for situations like this:

They work really well and they slide right back into the cardboard slots while leaving just enough of the plastic sleeve exposed to make taking them out again a lot easier. They're very inexpensive, so you might want to give them a try.

Is it up there with the classics? I would say "No." Is it one of the better westerns to come out in awhile? I would say "Yes" for sure. Plus it is a different take on the genre to a degree and a pretty cool twist at the end. Tim Blake Nelson's performance is worth it alone in my book.

I am going to buy the 4K digital copy at Vudu for $6.99 to see if this is worth paying $24.49 to own on 4K disc.

Putting on my flack jacket now...
