Thanks for the suggestion, but if you have seen any of Twin Peaks you know then that the cherry pies featured in it are nigh unto orgasmic. I don't know that any frozen pie can achieve such climactic results.

Nope. I'm not a coffee drinker.

I love the aroma, but I hate the taste. How weird is that?

You can’t go full TP without the complete package. Force yourself?

Says the guy who hasn't the "strength" to champion physical media on yet another field of honor!

Maybe adding Kahlua would help?

There's a really cool app called Just Watch that is an aggregator for streaming content. You type in a movie or tv show and it tells you who is streaming it and on what network/service. It also tells you who is selling the digital version, as well.

It's a handy app if you want to catch up on a tv show. I just binged The Son, which originally aired on AMC, but is now on HULU. I never had AMC, but I do have Hulu, so that was handy and efficient.

And all this talk about cherry pie...

Have Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me on disc. Just checked my Netflix streaming and at some point I started watching the TV series pilot but stopped and removed from my queue. Do not remember why. Added it back and will give it another go.

A lot of shows and movies get removed from my list if they are made on the cheap using predominately handheld cameras. I can tolerate some use of handheld cameras if done fairly well (Game of Thrones). In recent times I took a list of Dolby Atmos titles available on Netflix streaming and added most to my queue. Most of the TV series from that collection have been dumped because we deemed it junk.

In the near future we intend to checkout the Jack Ryan TV collection on Amazon. Have some of the older JR movies on disc but found the newer ones to be junk.

One persons treasure is another persons junk and vice versa.

I’m exhausted by defending our beloved media. (Nine years service on here) Think of me as the guy who has been given a desk job for a few months before returning to the frontline. Return I will though.

I’m too busy actually watching the stuff at the moment.

Tonight is Inferno 3D.

You did what?

Seriously though, Twin Peaks just seeped into to my pores. I just love that world and I think Lynch is a genius.

Sounds quite handy, thanks, and they have a website also for those of us that are too lazy to install the app.

Tonight is Inferno 3D.
I mostly do battle by day and watch movies by night. It can get tiring responding to 8 years of "discs are dying" unless you make a game of it.

I really enjoyed Inferno 3D. Watch the extras that come with it; making this move was quite difficult as they shot on location in the desert with these gigantic and primitive, but very effective, 3D cameras. Both the movie and the extras are good.

I am growing fond of these 3D films. I was told all about them by my Grandfather and it’s been a joy experiencing them in 3D for the first time. Especially House Of Wax.

'Unbelievable' and 'Dark' are on Netflix.

'The Boys' is on Amazon Prime.

I would also recommend -

'Love, Death & Robots', 'Mindhunter' and 'The Witcher' on Netflix.

'The Expanse' and 'Good Omens' on on Amazon Prime.

Thank you for the information.

I have already seen seasons 1 & 2 of Mindhunter and I found it to be one of the few offerings on Netflix that was any good. I have read recently that season 3 has been "indefinitely delayed." Some believe that the show is done and over seeing as the the actors have all been released from their contracts.

https://morningpicker.com/entertainm...to-know-47671/

These interminable delays and sudden cancellations of Netflix series are things that infuriate me about them. When I do find a show that I like on Netflix, the odds are that there will be huge delays between seasons or that they will abruptly kill the show. Either way, they leave fans hanging far too often.

@ Vilya or anyone else, have you imported anything from Amazon France? They have a region free version Open Range on BD with English DTS-MA 5.1 audio. Unfortunately, Google can not translate the Amazon pages.

Checked the HD version on Vudu and others and the preview was horrible. My DVD has much better PQ.
