Default How do bad restaurants stay in business?

Bland food seems to be acceptable where I am from. Must be the German/Irish heritage. even though thats what I am heheh. People can accept crappy food all day long but as soon as a server is rude, they will walk out the door. I dont get how people can have such a non-existant palate.

Amazingly though, the lowest rated restaurant in my town is 3.1 last I checked. usually the chains score lower. and most the complaints are about service
