Disney doesn’t supply any titles to Amazon IIRC and to make up for it Amazon buys stock from elsewhere so people buy from them. So, because of them having to go around Disney, it’s always fluctuating.

I honestly don’t care, this is just what I’ve heard. And Amazon is the worst.

Order? Yes. Be delivered anytime soon? Probably not.

maybe but as they won't be in stock they won't have any to ship. bottom line is that for now new releases won't be available from Amazon.

Variety Magazine posted an article about amazon temporarily halting the receiving of physical media shipments. They specifically called out CDs and vinyl. Currently I have numerous preorders that in the last 24-36 hours have had dates changed or completely cancelled (mainly music and a book). Beyond that, amazon and Disney seem to be having yet another battle as their orders are often not met on release day. Ford v Ferrari was the last I was going to order. I’d say hit a local business to get them on release day.

So far if Amazon has something in stock at their warehouses, they are shipping it including movies. What they are not doing is accepting shipments into their warehouses of non-essential items from their distributors (ex: movies). So as their current stocks of movies gets depleted, they won't be back filled until the current situation improves.

We are now in an era of if you have something in your hand and you think you might need it in the next 30 days, buy it...just don't be a jerk and hoard unnecessary amounts of supplies.

I havenít ordered Disney stuff on Amazon for years. I preorder all that from Best Buy and Target.

So if the country is be isolated in their homes for an extended period of time, physical movies, books and audio arenít going to help?

I read that Amazon is pausing on non-essential orders for at least 3 weeks. It's just toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and Lysol from now on, people!

Most of my Disney orders come from non-Amazon places these days anyway.

Though when I get that Skywalker set, I'm definitely wiping that box all around with Lysol I tell you right now.

Shame things are still not working out with Disney and Amazon because remember when they released the first season of Black-ish exclusively through there? We could've gotten a whole bunch of releases like that, but no.

What's ironic is that the sublicensed stuff are still up on pre-order.
